It’s under new management and they don’t have the amazing sandwiches they used to. This kind of broke my heart and ruined my lunch plans. Still a great little business, but not what it used to be.

Whatever you need you will find this msrket to have it. Great sandwiches on sub rooms only. Lots of snacks, beverages, cheeses, grocery items and more. Fast friendly staff. Not many choices along this stretch of road but this is a great one.
PDQ market has been there as long as I can remember. They never fail to disappoint. They have just about everything a large store would have but much smaller. Their prices are a little high but it beats a trip with traffic into Tahoe City....More
Wow, exceeded my expectations. Rarely a giver of a 5 rating this small town deli (principally a small grocery store) is well deserving. Friendly staff combined with monstrous sandwiched (full sandwiches can easily be shared by 3), really liked the Pastrami and Swiss on their...More

The sandwiches are definitely the best part of the PDQ. I never leave Tahoma without sharing one and eating it with one of the numerous spectacular views around Tahoe.
Great market with just about all you need on the west shore of Tahoe. They have great shirts/hats/souvenirs too! They have an indoor restroom, which is very handy if you're driving through, as there aren't many other options nearby! One tiny nit: no high-end champagne...More
