A breakfast and lunch cafe with the largest menu choices for omelets I've ever seen. Imagine something to put into an omelet and they do it! Don't go here unless you're really hungry - had to take at least half of my omelet home to enjoy later. Service was fast and friendly too. We'd go back to this place for... More
Kelley's was our favorite restaurant the first few years we lived in Tehachapi, but it's gone downhill the past year. They're only open for breakfast and lunch now, except for Fridays. The quality of the food isn't as good as it used to be, neither is the quantity. They've also economized on the number of servers. About two months ago,... More
This place is a little tricky to find, but it's worth the effort. The food reminds me of the 'coffee shops' i grew up with, where people could eat bacon, biscuits and gravy, and chicken-fried steak with enthusiasm. The atmosphere is casual. I was stunned at the omelet options (there's a list. in small print. one entire page. i got... More
My husband and I went to kelley's for breakfast last week. The service was great, the place looks clean and nice. I ordered the porkchop breakfast. I thought the porkchops smelled funky when the waitress served them, but I tried two bites anyway. They were bad. I told my waitress and the owner took $ 2.00 off my bill. I... More
These people make serious omlets, too many types to count on the menu. And they are willing to do special orders as well. They serve tasty sides including outstanding home fries. Down home feel and very friendly waitresses make you feel welcome.
Look at the photo, Alan P. and check the address. This is a great breakfast place. There is a Kelcy's also on Tehachapi blvd., but this is Kelley's on Brian Way. Sheesh. They have a great menu and friendly, "down home" service.
The pancakes are amazing and the breakfasts are home cooked and delicious. You are always made to feel at home and never have to worry about getting a bad breakfast. Coffee is just okay though.
This place is the ONLY place i have been able to find that makes a fried salad!! Its seriously a deep fried battered salad! It tastes like a crunchy crouton in every bite!!! You need to try this place its just all around amazing!!!
This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest restaurant in old downtown Tehachapi. And like I said, it is KELCY's, NOT KELLY's Cafe. My wife and I own a small horse ranch in the mountains about an hour's drive from Tehachapi, but we spend a lot of time in this little town, and whenever we are here we... More
