We had a group of 10 and were accomadited very easily. Food was very good, with large portions. Will come back, next time we're in Truckee.

I came to jax after thai delicacy refused to seat me so i was in a pretty irritated mood. I was very impressed by the wait staff, my waiter even struck up a conversation about where i was from and how my vacation was going. The food i had was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely return if i... More

I've had good diner food sandwiches for lunch here. The salmon benedict was leaden. Heavy, doughy "english" muffin was inedible. The salmon was fine but the eggs were over-cooked and we waited more than a half hour. Big skier crowd made things worse. Skip this place on Sunday mornings. 😑

We had a delicious lunch, good service, and enjoyed being able to sit outside and relax instead of feeling rushed by our servers. I don't even remember the specifics of what we ordered, but our overall feeling when we left was that we would definitely visit again.

Historical all American Diner with all the 50s Art Deco stuff. Beautiful. You have to go and the food is great and too big for Asian's appetite. We ordered the cowboy steak which is a porter house with garlic cheese fries and bartered onion rings served with béarnaise sauce. Done just right for us at medium, the burnt portion was... More

Good old comfort food and a fun atmosphere! In the midst of 15 feet tall snow backs was a toasty fire pit out front to welcome you. Our server Collin was outstanding. We'll be back.

This was my go-to eatery during my stay in Truckee. It is just down the street from the hostel where i was staying. I loved the Truckee burger, so simple, so well executed. Their breakfasts are great for the morning hangover. Their milkshakes and desserts were hard to resist and worth it every time I caved in. relatively inexpensive but... More

We have dined here many times for a late lunch/early dinner (less crowded). The burgers and sandwiches we have tried were all great from the Thanksgiving sandwich, Rueben, BLT to grilled cheese. Meatloaf is very good too. They have a good variety also including steaks, chicken and pastas. Nice they serve beer and wine, since most diners do not. Service... More

We had several people tell us to go here and it was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It's a great location in a cute little town. We split a breakfast. The hash-browns were amazing. Crispy and nicely seasoned. The chicken fried steak was big enough for two and they even put it on two separate plates for us. The homemade... More
