They have a fairly small menu which keeps decision making simple. The dough used in the pizza is sourdough so it tastes slightly different than most but it's very good. The location is small so there's likely a heavy wait on weekends. Wine is on...More

Excellent salad, good pizza, lots of interesting beer choices. Service seemed a bit slow (but then I was tired and hungry). The outside dining was nice.

Excellent thin crust with very good flavor. They will customize any pizza that you want. I went for the Spicy with Chorizo and Trumpet Mushrooms and red sauce: terrific. I also go for anchovies and they loaded them on, so it exceeded expectations.

Got their NYC diesel pizza and it was garbage. Whomever named it hasn't had NYC pizza because Saucy pizza didn't even touch on it. Very weak tasting and basic. The sandwich my wife got wasn't bad at all, they need to give up the pizza...More

This is a no-brainer....wonderful food, especially the Farmer's Daughter pizza, and the lunch's of pig or po boy sandwiches are the best! Kale salad is a winner. Great beer on tap from artisanal breweries will make your head swim. Cynthia keeps a tight ship and...More

When I first arrived, no one was friendly. No smile on the server's face. She just told me to sit anywhere. When she finally came over, she didn't offer any suggestions about what to try. I ordered the breadsticks, which was a mistake; they were...More

Italian Restaurant, Wood-fired Pizzas & On-Tap Beers Visited Saucy at lunchtime, the bartender was welcoming. Answered questions about beers on tap and was offered tastes! I ordered the Moylan's Irish-Style Red Ale: Inviting nose, caramel color, lovely flavor, and a satisfying finish! Chose the Farmer's...More

We decided to try this place last Friday night and the place was busy. First of all, they have a sign that says to wait before being seated, but the seating was not organized in the sense that they did not communicate to their staff...More

It's "Cheers Gone Chic" at Saucy, a wood-fired pizzeria in the heart of Ukiah's emerging, historic downtown. Thin crust Neapolitan-style pizzas star on the menu, which also includes an incredible array of delicious salads, fun, tasty, Italian bites (Cicchetti) like Nonna's Meatballs and Burrata, as well as "sandos", pasta and other wood-fired specialties. Saucy is an "urban oasis", boasting an incredible selection of craft-brewed Northwest focused beers on 15 taps and an eclectic, affordable selection of wine on tap and in the bottle. Saucy offers "Big City" flavors at friendly, affordable prices. Eat here or we'll both starve.
