Worst. Service. Ever. Wanted to try it because of the good reviews. Called ahead and asked if they had Menudo available, being a Sunday sometimes places run out. Without hesitation the girl on the phone says "Yes yes". We are seated but had to remind the waitress to take our order. Asked for taquitos as an appetizer since they don't... More

Arrived tonight with two family members to celebrate their birthday. The waitress took a while to return for the order after she brought drinks. Then a good 20-25 minutes went by without her ever returning. The people that sat behind us got their food and we were still waiting... waitress nowhere to be found (These people arrived and ordered after... More

We love the ground beef crispy tacos and the salsa is sweet and mild, but very tasty and fresh. Rice is also very good. Refried beans could be better. But over all, we enjoy it.

"La Palapa" has become our local favorite Mexican restaurant. Food we like to order includes carne asada tostadas, chicken taquitos, shredded beef/carne molida/carne asada tacos soft or dorado, chili verde burrito and the albondigas soup is especially great. Complimentary chips and flavorful salsa, rice always seems fresh and the refried beans have a chorizo flavor that makes them very tasty.... More

Dinner at La Palapa was a pleasure. We had a table on the beach which we enjoyed. The food is excellent. I had a spinach and jicama salad and seared tuna. My wife had coconut shrimp and a mango salad. The service was very attentive. Definetely worth a visit.

WILL ***NEVER*** GO HERE AGAIN!!! Waited over 20 minutes while others that arrived after me were being waited on and having their orders taken. Finally left with my 2 hungry children and had to take them back to school. They weren't even busy and I'm a very patient and understanding person, but this was ridiculous and so unprofessional.

Unfortunatly all I can say that the restaurant did not meet our expectation. I was expecting authentic mexican food and it did not deliver.

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. We have taken other family members here and they have enjoyed the food as well. The service is very quick and the servers are always polite.

We were very happy with the food and very flavorful. We have never been disappointed with this place. The staff are very welcoming and is also a family environment. The margaritas are to die for. The Chilie verde was very close to the ethnic roots it wasn't to Americanized. It was very good. Always happy with this place.
