When you enter the door at Valhalla, you will first see what appears to be a gift shop, but the tantalizing smell of abelskiver, cinnamon rolls and hot coffee will lure you into the dining room as you promise yourself to take another look at the gifts before you leave. Friendly servers will find you a table and get you... More

Home town charm and service with a great gift store. Swedish dresses on the waitresses add to the charm. It is the friendliest restaurant in Visalia.

This is a very small restaurant with a very large gift shop. Food is good and portions are more the size we should have instead of what we expect and want. Breakfast burrito was pretty good. Service was okay. Place gets very busy and definitely has it's usual's.

We have a variety of diets in our family and the menu accommodate all parties. We had breakfast there and let me say the spinach and mushroom omelette was delicious! The service was excellent!! Friendly and down home group of ladies working. There was nothing fancy about the gift shop, but the restaurant was exceptional

After many visits to this fine, simple, family, group, couple, or even a single person enjoyment of this breakfast-based cuisine we noticed the absolute consistency of food and service excellence. They also quickly attend to any needs upon request. A family atmosphere is accentuated. History of the area is present, as well. Thank you, Valhalla for not only providing a... More

This place has the best chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy ever. They have a great lunch also but I love their breakfast.

My husband and I LOVE this place. You know that you're going to be eating good. My husbands favorite dish is the Randy Omlet. And if you want a sweet treat get some Ableskeivers. Soooo good.

We love breakfast and don't usually eat it until most people are done with lunch. A place like Valhalla is a gem to us, especially when the food is so good. I had an omelette with mushrooms, olives, and cheese. I don't usually have olives in my omelette but I will in future. The portion was huge (we shared my... More

One of the best omelettes, full of fresh veg. The aebelskiver pancake balls as a side were a great treat and the fruit side was fresh and generous! Friendly waitress, good kids pancake, and homemade jam. Only advice is of your youngest child is 5 or older don't sit in the kids room. They offered it to us but once... More
