Mama is always in the kitchen cooking and Joe is at the front door drinking wine and having fun. Been going here for 17 years always consistent, always delicious.

We went on a Sunday night and it was very busy. The owners seem to know many people making me think that lots of locals eat here. The food was very good, but the service was adequate. Prices were moderate for a family of four.

Let me start by saying that the food here is very good. I lived in Italy for a time and this is only of the places that reflects the Italian food better than most places. It doesn't perfectly align with Italy Italian food but is really close. The garlic bread is really good as well as the salad with the... More

Went on a Wednesday night. Took about 10 minutes to be seated. Place was not super busy. Took another 5 minutes to get drink order. Slow service. Really bad acoustics, could hear the parents arguing with their daughter clearly, and the couple with the toddler made no attempt to quiet the child. The pizza was crunchy crust, and my wife's... When I first moved here, this place got rave reviews on Yelp, and one bad review which said, "I don't understand all these rave reviews; it tastes like Chef Boyardee." He was right. But if you like bland, Americanized Italian food, you may like this place. Better go another block down the street to Ciao's.

My husband and I just moved to Vista and we were looking for authentic Italian food (I grew up in NJ.). This place totally blew us away! It doesn't look like much from the outside but a totally different look greets you when you walk inside. A small, authentic restaurant decorated with red checkered tablecloths, Chianti bottles hanging from the... More

We stumbled on Marco's when the restaurant we wanted to go to had a 45 minute wait. So glad we did. Even though we were a party of 8 we were seated almost immediately in the back room where they have tables for large groups. We loved the decor since it took me back to Italy. The Italian food was...
