Went with a friend who had a taste for Italian. The Salad I had with hanger steak was adequate but my friend's Chicken piccata was very good! The staff were friendly and prompt.

Stopped here on route home with friends, Service was average and food was of reasonable quality. Plentiful and tasty, good if you don't want to cook.

My friend had a dish of raviolis in Pesto Sauce... Raviolis were tough and the whole plate looked like split pea soup, and tasr\ted awful. I had the spaghetti teresa, pasta with lotsa mushrooms (no taste, also) I think thecook forgot to put in spices and herbs in the food. (Half of the business seems to be pizza which might... More

The service was adequate. Food was very tasty and plentiful. Atmosphere was so-so and very noisy on a Saturday night.

I had a nice dinner here with someone special. Any shortcomings with the authenticity of the food, bread etc were in my view common to the East Bay and thus forgivable. The kind service made up for this. Can get crowded to the point of impacting service and quality during peak times but again this comes with the local territory.... More

I can not say enough about Sorrento's. I live in Colorado and at the suggestion of my sister who lives near Sorrento's, I arranged to have a small reunion luncheon (16 people) in Walnut Creek on May 28th. I set up the reservation with Carly several weeks in advance. She was so helpful on the phone ... and later as... More

I have heard so much about this place, so I was extremely disappointed that after going there twice, that it nowhere near lived up to its reputation.

Not too busy for the dinner hour. Mostly older (60+) crowd, possibly because prices were reasonable. Food was soso. Had the petrale sole dore which is fish battered then sauteed. The batter/crust did not stay on the fish upon slicing. Not easy to do but still annoying for the end user. Wife had (can't remember need to look at menu... More

We always go to Rocco's restaurant on Ignacio for Pizza but because of construction and no parking we decided to try an alternative. Not the best decision after all. From the outside and from it being right next door to a award winning Italian deli, you would think that's where management procures some of the finest cheese and italian toppings... More
