The title says it all..... It's a real, high end, Italian restaurant, with all the real Italian food, appetizers, handmade pasta, the real extra thin veal Milanese, fresh seafood, great desserts. High end food, service and prices. You might spot celebrities having dinner there. Go for it!

Great Atmosphere and fantastic service. Reservations are honored on time. Valet parking. The fish is the signature dish.

Starters: Veal ravioli and peach martinis are excellent. Grilled octopus and the mussels were also great. We had a party of four and we all enjoyed our cocktails, appetizers and entrees. Dessert: does not seem to be their strong suit. With the suggestion of the server, we order the white chocolate tort and tri-berries cheesecake and for good measure threw... More

This is a restaurant that I've always wanted to try. I was a little disappointed in the "standard" Italian menu - nothing interesting or that I couldn't get somewhere else for a fraction of the price. The food was fine, but nothing special. The scene is what you are really paying for. If you want to see celebrities, so here.... More

We came here on a Sunday evening with 9 people and were seated on the patio. It was a great choice for dinner. It is pricier but in my opinion but not outrageous. Many restaurants in LA are spendy so we had no issue with the pricing. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I had the pasta... More

came here for lunch and only had the Burrata which was the best ever (seriously I tried it everywhere on our vacation). my husband had the pizza and he scarfed it down so I'm sure it was amazing. I liked the patio and wish we could have come back for dinner. next time in LA dinner at Ago!

Went here with a group of 12 and had the back room. We could control the music playing and let the staff serve us a chef's selection across the entire evening. All in all a fantastic setting with great food and excellent service. Lots of fun cars to look at in the parking lot too! A must see in West... More

Although it is known for it's food, Ago serves the best peach martini with fresh slices of peach in the glass. We were a party of eight and enjoying both red and white wines, but when I was served my martini most of the table decided to have one too. We had burrata cheese, veal, fresh fish and everything was... More

We went to Ago with a group of eight. We clearly were not the crowd the waiters would expect to dine there. Most of us weren't hungry enough for a full 3-course menu. So we ordered Pizzas, Risottos and Lasagnes - all of which costs about 20 dollars each for starter sized portions. The Risottos weren't made with proper Risotto... More

Let me cut to the chase; I'm 62 and have dined in more than my share of fine restaurants in several countries. The meal I had at Ago the night before last was, simply put, just outstanding! I'm currently doing some consulting work with the World Trade Center in San Diego and three of us had just finished attending the... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
