OK.. when you cannot get into the HOT place you want to go to sometimes it is good. Parking is tough in Hollywood and why waste a good spot. So instead of moving we tried the small Tapas place right where we parked. Not many people when we got there. But it filled up. We stayed pretty safe with the... More

Went to Tinto Tapas Espana to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed and recommend it as an excellent place for authentic Spanish food. Owners/staff are all from Spain and are helpful, charming and attentive. Great service! Atmosphere is great...feels like you are actually in Spain, and they have long, comfortable couches stretching all around the... More

LOVED the Cava Rosado Sangria and Grilled Octopus. The Escalivada and Scallops were fantastic. Paella fell a bit flat for me as it looked nothing like the photos. Still - it had a great taste. I will definitely be back for more!

This place is amazing and definitely worth the visit. The service and personal attention is hard to beat. Ordered the servers suggestions from the tapas menu and everything brought to the table was excellent, The dining room is very small and would recommend you make reservations. Everything from service to food was excellent!

We returned to this restaurant again after having dined here a year ago while in LA. Once again it was outstanding. We had the chorizo, mushrooms, patatas bravas and the paella and everything was amazing. Prices are what you would expect to pay for tapas in Australia and comparable to other nice restaurants in LA. Owners and waiters are all... More

Cute place. Faux Spanish decor but very pleasant. Went for the Paella. $45 for paella for 2 a salad and a pitcher of Sangria sounded great. Sangria was OK at best. Needs more fruit, more Rioja and a shot of brandy would cheer it up. Paella is a mixed bag. It is delicious even though there is little or no... More

Tried this place the other night and was pleasantly surprised to find all the wine was half price. Very knowledgable woman helped us find a bottle. Super great with the tapas we had selected. The Chorizo is amazing. Potatas Bravas!!! Hurray

Anyone who complains that the tapas are "tapas-sized" is a flagrant moron and should be dismissed out of hand. To say that their prices are hefty without acknowledging how authentic both the food and the atmosphere are is to only tell half the story. Tinto is not a run of the mill local outfit making a gesture toward ethnicity -... More

Authentic spanish tapas. Great deals on wine (half price the night I was there, which was a Tuesday). The owner's daughter is very friendly and helpful and will give you direction to hidden gems on the menu. Mom is in the back cooking. YUM!!!!

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
