Delicious food and excellent service! The hostess even offered to take our photo outside with the large aquarium back drop. That's rare!

Being a sushi lover and someone who always enjoys sitting at the sushi bar and letting the chef do his omakase thing, Onyx is kind of off the mark for me. The food is fine- like a mid-level sushi bar. Too many saucy rolls, etc. for a sushi purist. Onyx can't quite figure out if it's a hotel restaurant, a... More
I knew going in that the price was going to be high because it was a four season. However, the food was just the same as a good local sushi place in town. So nothing extra ordinary but the price was over double. The restaurant looks old and a typical Hotel restaurant and needs refresh. Our server (a female I... More
Great atmosphere and food. We had a great time and server was fun and excellent. Pricing is on higher end, but to be expected at 4 Seasons Hotel, not a complaint just a fact. Know that going in.
The restaurant is nice and cool decorated. They could maybe dim the light a bit. The menu has everything a sushi lover crave + also some other lovely dishes if you prefer other things than raw fish.
It is New Years Eve. I leave Beverly Hills for Westlake Village, counter-intuitively leaving the “heart of the Entertainment industry” on the year’s most festive night. Why? Two words… Chef Masa. Within the last month I have visited the Four Season Hotel Westlake Village 3 of my last 4 weekends. Many reasons, I fell in love with the resort, the... More

Food was mediocre and definitely NOT worth the exorbitant prices - not just because of the the quality but also because of the small portion sizes and taste. We ordered... Wagyu beef: not tender, tasted too "game-y" (not like how Wagyu should taste). Scallops: good but sooooo small (2 for $22 and they were the silver dollar-sized ones, NOT the... More
Like all Four Seasons, everything is well done, from decor of the room, to service, to food. Not inexpensive, but really high quality. It definitely has the "feel" of a Four Seasons dining room and that is all good
Excellent service, as expected in a 4 Seasons, nice ambience, and delicious food. Portions are on the small side, but the flavors are spot on - very fresh! We enjoyed an excellent selection of sushi as well as a couple of rolls and the miso cod which came wrapped in a leaf. Cocktails were good, and they validated our parking... More
