We wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday and we succeeded in discovering a gastronomic gem in the region.
We chose the vegetarian tasting menu, since in addition to enjoying good food we want to take care of ourselves a little better.
It has been a total success.
Chef Ghislain has shown us his total mastery in each dish, with a special refinement in textures and harmony in flavors.
His wife, Chinobu, a very sweet woman, took care of every detail in the room.
And Dylan, the waiter, with his efficiency and friendliness, explained each dish with a great display of attention and courtesy.
In addition to the very balanced and delicious food, it is worth highlighting the homemade desserts with a level of excellence worthy of mention. We will repeat as soon as we can return to try other dishes on the menu.

This was one of the best meals of my life. The food was exceptional (foie gras in particular), as you’ll see from the pics here.
The Chocolate Surprise was the best dessert of my life — a chocolate shell covered in caramel, with ice cream and truffles underneath.
But what won me over the most was the service. The staff made a custom 7-course tasting menu for me. When they heard I loved duck, they made a special duck yakitori dish just for me :).
What a GEM of a restaurant!

My visit in Reynès has a theme name: La Dulcine. What a very special and memorable place this is. Every detail from the second you step in, becomes part of this unique experience. Yes, you don’t go to La Dulcine just to eat incredible food, you live an adventure of the senses.
The food is simply amazing. You can actually taste the care that has been put into every single ingredient in each of the dishes.
Ghislain, Clemencia and their staff make you feel so special and well-taken care of.
This place is so pretty, intimate and elegantly unassuming that it feels like you’ve been there before, perhaps in a dream… or perhaps in a silent poem?

The exterior appearance attracted us...the menu, the menu, the prices convinced us to book.
We were won over from the moment we were welcomed by Clémencia. An extraordinary blend of Japan, Peru and Provence....
We enjoyed our first dinner so much that we returned without delay for a discovery menu left in the care of Clémencia and Ghislain...a treat! And before returning home, right up there, we loved the Japanese-inspired menu (red tuna Rossini with the little sauce that goes well...killer).
Have you ever seen a restaurateur who makes you taste the wine to help you make your choice? Well here it is happening! And what's more, the local wines (Côtes du Roussillon) are excellent and very affordable.

It was very good, but very classic! As the waiter says "rather for an older clientele!)
The flavors are meant to be refined, but despite everything, the cuisine is rather old. Very nice presentation and fresh products.

A hidden gem well worth finding. The food is amazing with a wonderful combination of flavors, expertly prepared and presented. The wine list complements the food superbly and the service is world class. The chef prepares internationally themed menus on a weekly basis showcasing his artistry and amazing understanding on how to combine flavors. Why travel the world when he brings the world of great cuisine to you. ? Please try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. However we would warn you that it is addictive so plan on repeat visits.

Excellent. We took the vegetarian discovery menu. Flawless! . Each dish was very well constructed. The round of desserts is killer!! We come to this restaurant regularly but the vegetarian menu was a first. We have not been disappointed. We reiterate this choice with great pleasure. Service as impeccable as ever. Very good wine list. Go there with your eyes closed if you are looking for elaborate and gourmet cuisine

A very satisfying experience. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The dishes were excellent, with very balanced flavor combinations, all prepared with great finesse. We weren’t sure about the seasonal menu options or fusion foods, and almost cancelled our lunch reservation but are so glad we didn’t. Clemencia and Ghislaine offered us wonderful French/Catalan chicken and pork alternatives, with a delicious chocolate and passion fruit desert to follow. All served with a smile and at great value. Can’t recommend highly enough for anyone staying in or near Ceret.

Fantastic french / Catalonian based food with an Asian / Japanse twist.
Don’t come here expecting french food, come here to experience a Japanse touch to existing recipies,
The portions could be a tad bigger, or I was too hungry after such good food!
The staff is quite formal, more old school french / upper class type of restaurants, so it’s not your typical southern french interactions, they are dressed up.
If you like fusion, give this a try!

Wonderfully creative dishes based on Mediterranean, Japanese and South American influences. Clemencia and her husband Ghislain (the chef) run an exceptional restaurant and the new waiting staff are extremely polite and unobtrusive. Every meal here is a delight. Can’t wait to come back.

Three of us had dinner at La Dulcine last week, after its long closure due to lockdown. Any changes they've made have caused it, if anything, to become even better than it was a year ago. Such interesting combinations, reflecting great creativity on the part of the chef: octopus, tuna, crayfish starters, all prepared in truly unusual ways, followed by beef, lamb, and veal, immeasurably enriched by creative accompanying vegetables and other stuff. They very graciously offered us the dessert sampler tray which normally comes only with the tasting menu: fantastic, each and every one. Excellent service, perfectly paced. Very good, reasonably priced wines, by the glass as well as by the bottle. We opted to eat inside, but there's a lovely terrace as well. A memorable experience, yet again.
