Restaurant was well lit and clean, staff friendly and polite. Food was served hot, portions were average. Would I stop again probably not.

Fantastic, friendly throwback diner. Split pea soup so good we took extra home! Better Reuben sandwich than the delis in Palm Springs at half the price! Place is named Carla's Route 62 Diner. Carla and staff are terrific. Take a sandwich for the trails or stop for a great lunch on the way home. REAL FOOD!!

Excellent food, outstanding service! It's one thing to find a great diner, but to find one after some hiking/camping in Joshua Tree is a true blessing! My buddy and I were ready for a hot, delicious breakfast after a cold, blustery night of camping. Carla's Route 62 Diner hit the spot!! We started our day early (6:00am) but Carla's was... More

Great decor... even greater food. Friendly folk. Many bikers stop regularly. Also a separate room for private parties.

Saw this place on the internet and decided to visit for breakfast on our first morning in Yucca Valley. So glad we did. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a cheery 'hi, how are you' and shown to a table. The food was wonderful, the service fantastic and the cost affordable. Will definitely visit here again

Obviously, this isn't the kind of place to order escargot but a cheeseburger was just fine. The wait staff is efficient and polite and food comes out of the kitchen as expected and on time. So for a quick stopover, we had a really perfect experience. It's clean, concise and "a real tasty burger" (in Samuel Jackson's voice from Pulp... More

Great food & great service. Just about the best burgers in Yucca Valley. The The atmosphere is 50/60's style. The only down thing is they close at 2pm.

It wasn‘t what I Expected. The take of The Reuben didnt cut it for me. My Son wasn‘t impressed either. I am glad they kept the decor the same and I wish them luck.
