L'Atelier is the restaurant of a talented chef who is now planning to have a restaurant in Denver and Boulder, I believe. My last dinner at the restaurant in Boulder suggests that his attention is on the one in Denver only. I had the lobster...More

This is an excellent restaurant that my wife and i have been enjoying on our annual visit to Boulder for the past 15 years. We were there last week for our usual good dinner. Four of us shared one order of steak tartare and one...More

The owner was hot briefly in Denver twenty years ago. At one time he may have had Denver's best food. Now, he is just kind of a joke. The service is friendly at L'Atelier. Everything else is pretty much a disaster. The wine list is...More

Interesting menu, delicious food and wine, very nice ambience, consistently excellent. Service can be a bit spotty. In my three trips to this restaurant that I find serves the best food in Boulder, my waiters have ranged from superb to verging on haughty.

I was in this restaurant several times and tried many different menu items. I liked everything that I tried very much. Their deserts are to die for!

This is always one of our go to restaurants if we want to impress someone. It is an intimate quieter restaurant. The owners have an incredible wine selection. The food is always outstanding.

Made a reservation and asked for a table, not a booth. Twice the restaurant called, before we arrived, to change the time of our reservation because they said they would only have a table available at a certain time. We arrived at the restaurant's chosen...More

L'atelier is definitely at the top of my list when I'm in Boulder. As others have said, it isn't one of the trendy places in Boulder, which is blessed with many excellent restaurants. It is, however, one of the best meals - shall we say...More

It's better that the children stay home with a sitter. This is an adult restaurant.
