Had excellent brunch, I had the barbacoa and my friend had the breakfast sandwich. The barbacoa was nicely executed and not too much food. The sandwich good balance of sweet and salty. Good coffee and the oj was fresh pressed.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here in April 2017. We were tourists visiting Boulder for the first time. We looked at the NY Times article, 36 Hours in Boulder Colo., which recommends this restaurant. We noticed that many of the patrons were local business people and residents, which speaks well of the restaurant. The clientele seemed high-class... More

Our good friends recommended The Kitchen and I am so glad we tried it...it was FABULOUS. The food was delicious and was so fresh... The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and totally made our experience memorable. We tried lamb and raviolis and the half chicken. All with unique twists.. Local beers were an added plus!! Will definitely be back!

We went to the Kitchen Upstairs due to a recommendation from our Airbnb host. I owe him a debt of gratitude. We arrived at around 9:30 on a Friday night, and most of the (cozy looking) tables were taken, but we were in a "sit at the bar" mood anyway. I had a bowl of the most lovely mussels I've... More

Three of us went for dinner. We ate spaghetti bolognaise, duck cassoulet and bass. The local beer was excellent - Boulder beer is fabulous - the wine was very expensive and not a huge range. The service was great. So, in summary, more than OK, but not adventurous.

Traveling through Boulder I found this restaurant listed as one of Boulder's best so we decided to give it a try I called to see if I needed a reservation and Claudia told me there was nothing until 9:30. I told her we were from out of town and were anxious to give them a try if something would open... More

We stopped in for a quick bite of lunch and were pleasantly surprised at how nice and relaxed it was inside. The decor is rustic and the food is great. Don't miss the Lamb Burger - it was out of this world. Would be a great spot for a business lunch.

The dinner at The Kitchen was extraordinary. One of the best dinning experiences this year. The scallops were superb. The sea bass was excellent. Chocolate pot was excellent. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend The Kitchen in Boulder, Colorado on Pearl Street.
