We dined at Salt Creek last night after a great day on the slopes of Breckenridge. We had a reservation for 18 so they set us up in two adjacent, long tables. Salt Creek was chosen in part due to a good variety on the menu and a lively, well appointed dining room. With a group this size, orders varied... More

Salt Creek steakhouse is just off the Main Street on Lincoln. This restaurant doesn't just serve good food but has a wonderful ambience that is very welcoming. After a big day on the slopes skiing, it is a wonderful restaurant to dine in, as it has a warm friendly atmosphere and good wholesome food and quick service.

Average steak, trout was bland, elk was excellent. A real mixed bag as far as dining. Sides were pretty uninspiring.Busy restaurant on a Saturday night.

We had the New York Strip Steak Medium Rare and it was just perfect. The Cesar's Salads were also good. The place feels as being in a Cabin. Service was good, but the place was quite crowded. Recommended. Better than what the reviews state.

This was our first time and last visit here. Our server provided lots of information on the steaks but bragged on the seafood as well. One of our group order the steak and was happy. Three of us ordered seafood and it was overcooked and or tasteless. Side dishes and even the bread were not good either. Servers were cheerful... More

Very much enjoyed our dinner Feb 17. Service was excellent, and we have high standards on service. 5 in our party; steaks were cooked perfectly and I had trout, which was also very good and not overdressed with sauce. Vegetables cooked crisp, as we like. Would recommend highly!

Had a reservation for 8 people at 7:30. Place was very busy, which is a good sign, however it was very crowded and very loud. Took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food, and they had run out of the side we all requested. Salmon was good, steak was not for the price. They did comp us some... More

We stopped here both nights after skiing and had a couple beers while shooting pool/watching basketball. Friday night it was not very busy and Saturday night it was hopping a little more. Friendly staff.

Granted, there was,a long wait at Columbine Cafe, as usual, so walked over to Salt Creek. No wait for a table, but we waited quite some time for food and then it wasn't hot when it arrived. It tastes ok. There were only a few tables, maybe 6, and most already had their food, so not sure why kitchen is... More

This unassuming restaurant with pleasant, quiet decor has excellent service and management. The food is excellent with large portions. The elk steak and trout are highly recommended. Good wine list. This restaurant is good for large groups. They easily accommodated a group of 65 even delivering the foot hot and nicely presented.

Thank Wanda R
