We had the opportunity to come to the Crown with coupons from the Toyota stand at the Snow Sculpture Festival and we were blown away. The hot chocolate was amazing and it didn't even have any liquor in it. This was definitely the highlight of our day after the Snow Sculptures.

On a recent trip to Breckenridge, Colorado over Labor Day week, we had walked down from our condo for a walk up Main St. To start the day we stopped at the Crown a coffee shop, bar, & lounge. Their hours are Monday Thru Sunday 7:30a to 8p. We had a breakfast burrito, which I believe was called the royal... More

We stumbled on to this place since the Crepe Bar was slammed. We got so lucky... lol after five minutes in line The Crown was slammed too! Seating was limited because of the small size of the place but it was warm and intimate. The coffee was strong and the food was excellent. The cinnamon roll was warm and delicious.... More

This place was a great find. My boyfriend and I picked the burritos which were very tasty. We also picked different alcoholic coffees and the Cubano and they all were great. Happy I stopped in!

This is a great place to lean back, relax, and have lunch, dessert, coffee or ice cream. It is a nice place to meet people for coffee, a short meeting or just to relax and talk.

The best coffee shops and bakeries are nearly always the local owner-operated joints, and the Crown Café is no exception to the rule. Service was excellent; our food and drink were simply perfect; the feeling of the place is warm, cozy, and friendly; and we had a great and comfortable conversation, almost as though we were alone at home. The... More

We love the Crown. Great for coffee and snacks. The venue has a nice atmosphere, cozy by the fire. The Crown also offers free games, cards or scrabble or a game of chess, to entertain your whole family.

There is a full menu but we just stopped in one afternoon after a hike for tea. I had been to the original Crown some years back and it now has a new look with a very cool atmosphere and great music! We also ordered one of their large chocolate chip cookies which was heated before serving...nice touch! Friendly staff... More

The Crown Cafe and Tavern is a well known establishment of 13 years on Main St. Breckenridge. Its comfy atmoshpere and delicous coffee have always been sought after by locals and visitors. In the Spring of 2013 the previous owner, Abi Norton, decided it was time to end this chapter and sold to a young couple-Sara and Brett Cox. Sara and Brett met and married in Breckenridge and often dreamed of owning their own business. When the opportunity to own The Crown came available, they jumped at the chance and opened its doors again in June 2014. With a fresh facelift and modified menu, The Crown experienced its best Summer to date. In the Fall of 2014, The Crown underwent a large renovation completely updating the interior and adding a new kitchen. It opened its doors in December with an expanded menu, new bar, and same charm. Be sure to stop by next time you're in Breckenridge to check out this local favorite!
