Hit MFF for dinner after a ski day. We got there around "dinner time" and luckily there were a few tables open so no wait. We had not been sitting long when the crowd hit and there was a bit of a wait for those behind us. But I think it is worth the wait. Everything we tried was very... More

My wife and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary by inviting 17 of our family for some time in Breckenridge. Mountain Flying Fish is no ordinary sushi restaurant. The quality of rice fish was absolutely outstanding. Toshimi was so helpful in putting everything together for a the event. It was a spectacular display of food and was put on beautiful platters... We have been eating here for many years and absolutely love it! Everything we order from the sushi menu is always delicious. We are huge sushi fans and eat it where ever we travel. Mountain Flying Fish ranks right up there with some of the top restaurants we have eaten in in Washington DC, Las Vegas, Miami, San Diego. Great... More

This is the best in Summit County for quality of sushi, but not Denver quality. It is in a west facing building and was really hot inside without AC. Atmosphere is semi casual and can get loud. 3 chefs were working feverishly behind the bar to crank out rolls. The quality of the fish was slightly above average, but slices... More

I have no idea how they get fresh fish up into the mountains but the sushi was delicious as was the hot dishes including udon noodles, salmon teriyaki and nabeyaki udon. Will definitely come back next time we are in Breck

We live here in Breck and go to MMF every other week. (More often would be good!). It's the best food in Breck, and the best sushi we've had anywhere! You don't have to love sushi to love this place. Tet really knows how to present like the top guys in the sushi world. The Tom Yum soup is amazing.... More

After having tried hearthstone and ember both among the top ten on tripadvisor for breckenridge, we were told about this establishment by some locals and decide to give it a try. So we did and we did not regret the decision. The food was very very good if not to say excellent particularly when comparing to the price charged. There... More

We waited a loooong time for a table; we waited a loooong time to get menus; we waited a looong time to get our food. It was like we were invisible. The sushi was outstanding. It's a tiny restaurant; there is a terrific, under-used deck that could definitely use some more tables. After all, it's a killer view. I just... More

The rolls and sashimi we got were fresh and tasty. The restaurant seems geared to adults. The waiter brought BIG full glasses of water that were hard for my 8 year old granddaughter to handle and we had to ask for a smaller covered cup. All the sushi that the kids got came with wasabi on the rice and the... More

Flying Fish has always been a refreshing choice in Breckenridge. In a town of pizza and burgers, MFF stands out. Chef Tetsuo carefully shapes his sushi with pride and is very present within the restaurant. A reliable, healthy and delicious staple!
