At first... the service was great. Hats off to the girls running this place, they do a great job. The problem...well... I guess it is too expensive to run this place because the food is flat out tragically horrid. The worst sushi you will ever eat. Tiny portions of mediocre fish, the dim sum is disgusting and the other stuff... More

Quaint and cozy interior with the best sushi and sashimi in the area. The tuna carpaccio is divine! Love the seafood salad, all the rolls and the freshness of everything. The owner is the sushi chef and really great with creating something delicious for dinner. We've had them cater a party that was amazing as well.

The place is small and the hours are short but it's well worth a visit. Great quality sushi and a fantastic atmosphere.

Owner is from Japan and makes all the sushi/sashimi himself. Medium priced and good authentic quality fare. Has beer and wine, not sure about liquor.

great go to for sushi. No frills. Always greeted by sushi chef. Great to dine or take out. Prices are on the upper side but always worth it.

We always eat here when in town. The best sushi for the money anywhere in the Valley. We normally order take out, but if you can get a seat it is a good atmosphere and has a local vibe. Talk to locals and this is where they go.

I love this place! The food is great and reasonably priced (for sushi). There is a real small-town feel where everyone is treated like one of the "regulars".

Sushi-ya gross-gross. Holy cow, this was some pretty bad Japanese food. Sushi was bad down to the rice. Sashimi slices were about the smallest I've ever seen. Rolls were bland and were small. The best thing I could say about the tempura was that it was fried. Cutting corners was blatantly obvious: pot stickers were deep fried (easy) instead of... More

Fresh, delicious sushi creations right before your eyes by talented Japanese chef and owner, Hide Tsuzuki. The best sushi in the valley, and the best kept secret. I can't imagine the thrill that Food Network would experience if they discovered this tiny gem! Go on Friday nights when exceptional server Shannon is working the entire floor and bar with grace... The sushi is incredibly good. Always check the fresh board on the wall. The scallops are the best on the planet. His carpaccio is awesome. Atmosphere is fun. He always has something new and surprising. He used to be in Aspen, now he graces the down valley.
