Nice atmosphere with lots of wood, not too well lit. We sat at the bar where Ben took excellent care of us. Food was very good, service was tuned to our pace and not the bartender's.

Especially for a celebration dinner, this restaurant is a classic. Love the atmosphere, the food is great, have celebrated many a birthday or special occasion here. Intimate, charming but large, different rooms for different occasions. Great place!

This restaurant was very good and everything had great flavor. I ordered the bacon wrapped swordfish and it was excellent! It came with white cheddar mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The green beans were some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Ok food, you can go get the same at a lot of places. Over priced for what they have. Not bad, not near as good downtown as many others downtown.

We visited as a very large group and they provide our own room. It is a very rustic feel with great food and Service. Everyone loved their meal and the service. Deserts were wonderful as well. We would return

We do not live in Colorado Springs but needed to host a dinner for 19 downtown. Mackenzie's was recommended by a friend, and we booked our dinner sight unseen. The staff was very easy to work with in determining what menu items would be on offer, how much alcohol we would include and other advance details. On the night of... More

My husband and I had a lovely anniversary dinner here and had a great time! Service was great, and food (steaks and chicken) were awesome. The bruschetta with capers was the best I've ever had. Reservations are recommended, as it can get very busy, especially on weekends.

Walking downtown before an event at the Pikes Peak Center, we decided to try MacKenzie's, although we had no reservations. The hostess quickly cleaned off a hightop in the bar area for us. We were early enough for Happy Hour, so my Granny Smith martini and my husband's glass of Riesling were $16.00. Mariah was an attentive server. The appetizer... More

We dropped in a few times for a drink and found the bartender very engaging. Had a good steak dinner there before a concert at the Pikes Peak Performing Arts Center, which was great! Delicious steak, properly done to order, and generous side dishes; good wine selection. Looks like it is popular with the downtown business crowd, so reservations are... More
