If it's not on the menu, ask for the beef cheeks. I can't remember what it was called specifically but this was the best meal we'd had during our stay. Also, I recommend trying either a Cranberry Boulevardier or a Harvest Old Fashioned (not on the menu).

The Summit is located across the street from the main hotel in the event center building. It is more modern than the other restaurants but still very comfortable with a warm and inviting feel. We started with appetizers. The escargot was great as was the lobster mac and cheese, and the Cesar Salad. The Steak Tartar was absolutely unbelievable served... More

It was penned as a French cuisine restaurant but it was just an American restaurant with a mild flavour of garlic. I even had the snails and they were nice but not great and that's the theme. All the food was good but not worthy of the price tag. If a restaurant can't get a coffee to taste like coffee... More

My husband and I were treated like VIPs when dining on the lake by candlelight. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is romantic. The staff and service is excellent.

Well, how to start? When you are the Broadmoor property you expect outstanding service. Last month, while at the Broadmoor for a conference, I had one of the most puzzling experiences of poor service ever. I was with 5 colleagues from around the country and the UK, and we were seated promptly according to our reservation. We got started with... More

When my wife and I had dinner the restaurant wasn't too busy. The service was average but the food was not near what you would expect for an up-scale Broadmoor restaurant. The hangar steak was recommended but the dish was served warm and the steak was tough. The La Tavern is similar priced and the food is much better.

My nephew told us of a great place for breakfast. He took us to the Broadmoor and it was everything he said it would be. the food and service was above expectations and the setting of the hotel and restaurant was breath taking. i would recommend the Broadmoor to anyone visiting the Colorado Springs area. my visit was in July... ANother could joined my husband and me at Summit after leaving the Cheyenne Mountain Resort bard dissatisfied. As soon as we walked in the door, we knew we had landed in the right place. We took a seat in the back of the lounge and ordered drinks and appetizers. THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING, and the food and drink quality were... More

This is a French Bistro and is absolutely divine!! We had early reservations and were so glad as it became quite busy as the evening progressed, and we had a table by the windows which was perfect. There was also an Army formal going on in a back room, and it was unique to see all the dress uniforms and... More

I selected this restaurant for our last night at The Broadmoor because it had a wine turret behind the bar! They had plenty of wine selections from their turret, too. A little pricey, but well worth it. And I usually don't get pasta when I eat at nice restaurants, especially since The Summit had some good chicken and beef options,... More
