Went for dinner with a group of friends. They had room to seat our large party. Portions are large and food is pretty good - I've had better Mexican food, but it was a nice evening... Margarita's are tasty - very little alcohol in them.

I went here with a friend and had the Beef Chimichanga-I enjoyed it wish it was a bit bigger -the chips and salsa seemed fresh and the service never left us without extra chips or beverages -My friend and I had the cinnamon churro and ice cream-I would have like a little more ice cream but the flavor was great... This a great family restaurant. The staff is great and took excellent care of our table. Chips and salsa were some of the best I have had in quite some time. Definitely a place I will return when in the area. Local authentic Mexican flavor; great food, great staff! Thanks!

There was one review above that said stop at the chips and salsa... they are right...and the cheese dip is melted Veleeta (nasty orange plastic cheese dip) The carnitas were very good but by the time the food came ...3 baskets of chips later... and 2 margaritas ....the meal was difficult to enjoy. Overall definitely a meal you will regret... More

We have eaten many times at Pueblo Viejo.and have always enjoyed it. Today we got an order of guacamole to go. It was a dinner party and everyone was impressed. We will be back.

We visited the Pueblo Viejo restaurant on N. Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs. From the pleasant greeting at the door to the table service we were amazed. The food was excellent as well.

We were on our way to eat at Texas Roadhouse when we passed this restaurant. After a brief discussion between myself and my husband, we turned the car around. I'm glad we did. Although our waiter was very slow (even though they were not at all busy), the chips and salsa were quite good and the bean dip was a... More

We visited Pueblo Viejo on a Wednesday night around 6 pm. There were seven of us there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our hostess seated us quickly. The restaurant was clean and the décor is what you would expect to find in the typical Mexican style restaurant. The room we were seated in had glaring lights and the ambience could... More

First, the chips served with salsa and frijoles prior to your meal are delicious. Food is very authentic and plentiful, enough for 3 meals. Great mole and red chili, pretty good green chili. Service is always great, very attentive staff. There is a great variety of choices and everybody should be able to find something to their liking.
