This is an amazing place - a little slice of Texas in Colorado. The food was incredible, the pie was wonderful, and the family so kind and nice. We came in right as they were closing and they could've said "nope, we're closed" but motioned...us right in. Great service, and fresh hot food. DO NOT MISS THE PIE!More

Not sure how good the food is, never made it that far. We walked into the chaotic mess and didn't see a sign that said to wait to be seated and our friend had just had an asthma attack on the mountain so we tried...to make our way to an open table only to be screamed at by this waitress, I wish I had gotten her name, in front of the entire restaurant. I walked out determined they would never see 10 cents of my hard earned money. I guess they have all the business they want. They'll NEVER get mine.More

Nothing really exists at Texas Creek EXCEPT Barry's Cafe and it was a pleasant surprise. Most notable, they are known for cinnamon roles the size of a plate (no kidding). We split one four ways for a light breakfast. My daughter ordered a single pancake...that was likewise overlapping a normal sized plate! Kind and friendly waitress. Great stop for breakfast on an otherwise remote part of HWY 50...More

Family owned and operated cafe! So warm and welcoming! All of their food is homemade to order! Their green chili is wonderful and they have GIANT cinnamon rolls! They are more than accommodating when there were allergy needs that needed to be met! Absolutely reccomend...this place to everyone I know!More

What a great stop on US-50. On the outside this business looks like either a rafting company or convenience store. However, it turns out to be one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at in Colorado. The business is family owned and operated, and the...quality shows. The menu is extremely large and everything is fresh and home prepared. I had a chicken fried steak sandwich which comes on Texas toast, accompanied with cream gravy (of course), bacon and green chilies served with fresh hand cut fries, simply delicious and really tasty. My wife ordered a turkey burger which is 1/3 pound freshly ground turkey meat which was also outstanding. Service was exceptional, the food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant, it’s worth making this a destinations next time you’re in this general area. Highly recommend.More

Loved the breakfast! Friendly service! Can’t wait to revisit next time! Breakfast plates were abounding and delicious. Price is good given the amount you get! Really cool place along the Arkansas River.

Pass by this place often and have wanted to try it out. Biggest disappointment ever. I got the Ruben sandwich and it was so greasy the bread wouldn't stay together. The french fries were thick, but also soaked in grease and not cooked.

The food is good and the service is great. I reluctantly decided to try their apple pie. Most restaurant apple pie is not that good. My grandmother spoiled me for apple pie. I used to pick the apples and she would make the pie with...lots of sugar and cinnamon, especially on the crust. Left over crust was covered with cinnamon and sugar and baked to a nice brown color. Well, I was delighted to find an apple pie that rivaled my grandmother's. I will drive to Texas Creek now to have some of that pie.More

We stopped for lunch at Barry’s Den while passing through the area. This is a small family owned and operated restaurant with a surprisingly large menu. Our crew of six was very pleased with the food and the very friendly service. I would definitely eat...there again if I am in the area.More

We stopped to have lunch after a hot ride on ATV's. It was a relaxing, homey, comfortable place. Great food and great atmosphere.
