This was by far our best dining experience in CB. The service was impeccable and she he good was equally delicious. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I are really partial to wine bars and tapas, especially when traveling. Django's is one of the best--clearly better than most in larger cities. There weren't any seats outside, however, we sat upstairs and the ambiance was perfect. We had small plates...More

Don't use OpenTable for reservations!! Django's has a nice selection of shareable small plates (appetizers, salads, and entrees), and the selections that we chose (two appetizers, one salad, and one entree for two people) were all very good but not excellent. Like similar places that...More

We met a friend there and got a lovely table right outside on Elk Ave. The concept was really cool-you ordered numerous dishes and the waitress brought them out one at a time in the order they chose-shared plates. It was fun and worked out...More

Known for small plates similar to tapas, but for the two of us it did not work well. I enjoy food and did not feel there was enough though we did order five plates. The staff removed the plates too fast to suit my wife...More

Django's serves "small" plates for sharing, instead of a large entrée with sides. What a great idea! The best dish, in our humble opinion, was the Brussel sprouts. All of the other dishes were great, too. We were disappointed they were out of the fish....More

We enjoyed the food but the service was poor. Our server did not serve our food but rather an underdressed food runner brought the food but could not describe it or know who had ordered what item. Being a "sharable" place requires fresh plates and...More

We ate at Django's on the first night of our trip to Crested Butte. We were attracted by the small plates concept. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. The centerpiece is the vintage bar which blew us away! The wine list was excellent and offered a...More

I haven't been to the restaurant since it changed locations, but the affect didn't change the food. Still delicious and unique. The wine list didn't seem as extensive as before, but we still enjoyed the quartinos we got. The reason for the very good instead...More

I don't like to do carry out although this establishment does, I saw some one pick up an order to go while we were on our 4th small plate....

I would not take young kids to this restaurant. A better place for a nice date! Especially if you sit at the chefs table.

Description
django's is a locally owned restaurant in Crested Butte, with a seasonal menu of globally inspired small plates. This culinary adventure offers a fun dining experience best shared with friends: the plates are brought one at a time, for everyone to taste more than 20 different selections on the weekly menu. The wines are served by quartino (250ml) carafe, to allow for pairing and sampling across an extensive list focused on European and South American wines. The interior is elegant yet casual, offering seating in low banquettes, high tables, or on the balcony overlooking the bar. If you prefer dining outdoors, grab a table on the front patio, where you can see and be seen on Elk Avenue.
