Great, fun menu with excellent service. Justin Cucci is such an innovative chef in Denver. I like his work here and at Linger.

Rotating seasonal menu keeps me coming back for more! Go with a group so you can sample many dishes and you won't be disappointed. It is also the ideal place to take a date: Low romantic lighting, low level noise, and excellent service. There is something for everyone and they are allergy friendly. Raw Tuesday's never disappoint.

I thoroughly enjoyed brunch here with a friend recently. It had been a couple years since I'd been to Root Down, and it was just as delightful as I remembered.

I have been to this restaurant in LoHi many times. The quality and popularity of Root Down is indicated by the wait times at any time of day. There is always a crowd, though you get a table quickly most times. The food is the best - high quality, sometimes unusual, always delicious.

I LOVE this place! I came to this restaurant several times for lunch, brunch and dinner and never disappoints. I visited both locations: LoHi and Denver International Airport on Concurse C, don't miss it! Their vegetarian-friendly menu, the quality of each dish and the service along with the ambiance make this restaurant one of my favorite spots in the city.... More

This restaurant has very good food. The menu is interesting and varied. All of the plates we ordered we enjoyed. The portions are very small, especially for the price. Not sure we would return considering we left hungry.

I had a hard time choosing what to order, the menu is quite small and might not be for a picky person. I was being picky that night and decided on the Kashmiri chicken, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the grit cake was interesting but not my thing, loved the kale and the coulis and the curry sauce complimented... Description
Root Down aims to connect the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. There should be a seamless bond between the elements and experience, which stimulates the senses and draws people in. Root Down serves “globally influenced seasonal cuisine,” which basically means we go where inspiration leads us. We’re not tied to one style or genre—we’re hoping to create one of our own. At Root Down we pride ourselves on striving to solve the ‘Omnivore’s Dilemma.’ We have created a dining spot where all dietary needs will be accommodated, including vegetarian, vegan, raw and gluten free; also allergies or intolerances are always handled professionally by the kitchen team. Our menu has icons reflecting this philosophy, though we always request you notify your server of specific needs. We look forward to seeing you soon!
