Happy hour is my time to go. The specials are generous, the small plate menu is wide-ranging and tasty, and the service is always great.

Cool ambiance, a little tight on seating but so worth if for the food. Three of us had different pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them. As a celiac I was over the moonfor the gf flatbread with olive artichoke tapenade! Cool options for wine flight trio!
I've been eating at Lala's for several years. I first found out about them because of their Sunday Supper (all you can eat four courses severed family style at a great price) and Happy Hour deals. The food is fantastic, the pizzas are great and...More
Pretty, comfortable setting in Capitol Hill neighborhood. Directly across street from Governors Park. Able to find street parking easily on a weekday. Nice selection of wines and cocktails. Menu includes good selection of appetizers, salads, pizza and pasta. I had a roasted beet salad which...More
Fun place with a nice bar. Wine list was good and the pasta and pizza were great. Our waiter was really helpful and didn't rush us at all. Lala's has been around for about eight years and I first visited 6 or 7 years ago....More

the atmosphere here is perfect for getting together with people as the seating is comfortable, you're not crammed between other groups and the noise level is quiet but not so quiet you feel uncomfortable talking in a group. The pizza is also delicious and plentiful.
I know they specialize in pizza and pasta (which my wife and I have had in the past), but Saturday night the short ribs with gnocchi sounded good. It did not disappoint. Both flavors complimented each other and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
We attended a pre-wedding celebration and had a great time. While there isn't a separate room for large events, they accommodated us just fine with a section of the restaurant. We had a great selection of heavy hor d'oeuvres and a GREAT selection of wines...More
