Very casual; in an old victorian house. Four of us had breakfast and thought everything delicious. The biscuits in particular were scrumptious.

Sassafras is the only place I go for breakfast/lunch anymore. It's funky and easy, and the food is awesome and unique. Located in a Victorian house, it has a nice outside patio. The food is from scratch, with generous portions. My favorite is the Cajun Benedict (served on crab cakes, not English muffins, with fried oysters). Try the chicken-fried eggs... More

I have been here on several occasions, the service is always great and the food is delicious. Portions are reasonable size, so you don't waste food. I highly recommend the chicken fried eggs & buffalo hash. Lovely old house, small and cozy. Make a reservation during the week or call ahead on the weekend as it gets busy!

Had breakfast there for the first time at this quaint little restaurant. Great service, the really good coffee, and an unbelievable menu. I had Buffalo hash, with homemade cornbread and what they call chicken fried eggs. Just exquisite. Looks like a fabulous lunch menu also. I'm guessing because it is so good, lines may often be long. They have lots... More

Wow. What a great place. For a first time visit I wish it was on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The Milkshakes were awesome! Service was really good. My wife ordered chili that was a little oilly. That brought her another dish without hesitation. We went there before a 1:00 meeting. We both wanted to go take a nap because... More

Food was delicious (we loved the green tomato benedict), reasonably priced, good service. It's a very small restaurant though, actually a converted house, so you will probably have to wait. Only open for lunch!

We looked around for a brunch spot near our AirBnB and found this cute place. Very yummy brunch options and drinks. Not a cookie-cutter, usual menu, they have some zest in their food. No box mixes like a gross iHop or Denny's here! I will for sure be coming back next time I am in Denver!

This is a great place for breakfast/brunch. Super small so pack your patience, but with the adorable patio and endless selection of bloody mary's the wait is almost welcome. We enjoyed a flight of bloody mary's, giving us a good tester of different concoctions, and sat on the patio basking in the sun. The food did not disappoint either. Not... More

Went to the other location a couple of weeks ago with a friend and then the hubs decided he wanted to try it out, so I was curious whether this one was as good as the one on Colfax. This location is super small, but does have a parking lot whereas the other location doesn't have dedicated parking. The food... More

My BFF flew in from Chicago on a Thursday morning so we left the airport in search of a good bloody mary. We ended up here and ordered a flight of bloodies while we waited for a table. We loved them all. Once we were seated, we split an order of the buffalo hash and crafted a custom mac and... More
