The Brown Palace is our very favorite Historic Hotel and a visit there is never complete without at least one visit to the Palace Arms. Imagine our disappointment when we visited on our first evening at the hotel, only to find that in this historic icon, there is absolutelty no traditIon maintained in menu selections. I very much understand the... More

This was a five course meal. Lobster and apple first course. Great. Scallop and corn chowder number two. Wow. Third was short rib, best course. Turkey forth. Good stuff. Apple tart course five, but I was too full!

I have never ranked a restaurant so low. My family traveled from all parts of the USA to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday at her beloved Brown Palace in Denver. Our family is well travelled and quite knowledgeable about food quality. We had a private dining room. The service was fine. The food was cold, dry and especially un-appetizing. The... More

Was looking forward to another wonderful dining experience at the Palace Arms as it has always been in the past. I was initially disappointed when I found that they no longer have the classic Caesar Salad on the menu.....that in addition to their signature filet dish. The explanation is that the chef has a new "vision", which is understandable with... More

There are more glitzy restaurants in Denver. There are a few restaurants that might produce more tasteful food. And some might give you more bang for your buck. But for a total dining experience...atmosphere, ambiance, service, food...the Brown Palace's Palace Arms is as good as it gets. The crown jewel of Denver's finest hotel, the Palace Arms allows guests to... More

Had dinner here with friends as it was our turn to treat them to a nice diner. The Caesar salad was good as were the bananas foster for desert, but there was a problem. I had the suckling pork which included potato, vegetables and sauce. It was good, but nothing special. My girlfriend had the roasted halibut which was served... More

Start with ceasar salad as they prepare the old fashioned way at the table in a wooden bowl then have anything else they serve. It's a total throwback and wonderful. We get to Denver almost every year and insist on staying at the Brown Palace Hotel. Our first dinner is at the Palace Arms

Thought we would try the Palace Arms again after the chef change about a year ago. The food continues to disappoint and does not do justice to interior design of the restaurant. The amuse bouche was inedible. The Caesar salad for two was too oily and salty. The "suckling" pork was very dry, and the salmon was the worst piece... More

My boyfriend and I had the Valentine's Day tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was truly amazing. Service was excellent, the meal was delicious, and the decor superb. It was very very very pricey for sure, but definitely worth it.
