Busy place, with a ton of menu options. It’s exactly what you would expect when you walk-in to the place. Great breakfast and great service. They know what they are doing.

Not sure what others consider good food. Since we were plenty, ordered several things. Chili fries were not good at all, Hot wings were undercooked, onion rings in the "too crunchy almost burned" side and the service was far from desirable. We spent about 10...More

Good food, nice portions and reasonably priced. Easy to find place, and I was able to get right in. Steak was cooked exactly as I had ordered.

I read hundreds of reviews on this place and was extremely disappointed when it was an hour wait to be seated.. we ended up not eating here and I was pretty mad. Every time we passed, there were people standing around inside waiting. The lady...More

Definitely not the restaurant's fault, but parking continues to be an issue downtown Denver. All those new buildings with blocked spaces for construction equipment. Plan accordingly. Love the menu, enjoy the central location and reliable service. Love their sandwiches. Recommended!

This place was CRAZY busy on a Saturday morning. We waited 25 minutes for a table and it was worth it. They def. don’t skimp you on food and it was all delicious. One of the few places with grits for this southerner. The loaded...More

Yes, both our Pork and Veggie Kickin' Green Chilis are gluten free. We use corn masa instead of flour. The Original No. 3 Red Chili and Tex-Mex chilis are NOT gluten free. Hope this helps!

Sam’s No. 3™ was the third of five Coney Islands restaurants opened by Sam Armatas during the 1920′s. The original location was at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. On Sept. 28th, 1998, Sam’s son, Spero, with his grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick, re-established his most famous of the Coney Islands restaurants, Sam’s No. 3™. In honor of the age old tradition, they made a promise to each other to continue to provide excellent quality of food and embrace the inviting, warm atmosphere started by “Mr. Sam” more than 75 years ago!In April 2011, our little kitchen was featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". We were selected because so many local fans had written. A must-stop on any trip to Denver.
