Have eaten here for years & years. Stopped in after long drive today while staying at the hotel. Food was pretty good. Service was "I would rather be elsewhere" attitude. The final indignation was "We are out of Guinness." How can an "upscale" bar be out of beer? Who manages this bar? Not impressed Brown Palace!

had a late dinner here alone, good food and friendly service. Had crab cakes which were on the slightly dry side, salad was huge, wine glasses too.

We stopped by the Browns Hotel Ship Tavern in mid afternoon for a snack and drinks, mostly because I wanted to see this historic old hotel. The hotel lobby was awesome - wished I could have stayed there! While the Ship Tavern had lovely, there was little in the way of afternoon snacks, Still happy that i got to visit... More

I have been eating here once a year for over ten years and the prime rib was the best in town. Tonight it was dry and medium rare when I asked for rare. I think for $38 it should have been top notch. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were excellent and the truffle french fries were very good although they... More

Casual, but very atmospheric. Cozy bar looks like the inside of a ship, very cool. Food was really great. Wonderful service.

Our waiter was friendly, professional and on top of his game. The filet of beef and the Scottish salmon were outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect....could not have asked for a better dinner.

Loved the place... had not been there in years but the really good parts haven't changed a bit. Great drinks, good food, lots of history.

The food was very good, I would eat there again. I had the salmon salad, the salmon was so tender. My mate had the bison burger and he said it was very good.

My mom and I stopped by the Brown Palace before going to the Taylor Swift concert in Denver recently. We expected to have "fancy drinks" and a small appetizer at the famous hotel before meeting up with friends after. When our waiter brought our drinks, he nearly spilled my mom's entire martini, not even offering to replace it. She drank... More

I liked the interior. Throw back in time. Bartenders poured heavy, that is always a bonus. The onion soup is a must. The hamburger wasn't so thrilling. Not bad, but rather generic. Regardless of whether you eat or have a drink, it is worth seeing this hotel.
