5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

My husband and I did the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was absolutely delicious. The pairing was amazing and the food wonderful. Perfect portion size so you would not leave feeling over full but just right. The flavors were great, some unique tastes and beautiful in presentation.

Hands down the best salad I have ever had is the Brassica Salad at Rioja. I stumbled upon this restaurant while cruising Larimer Square and quickly learned that their sister establishment is my other fave, Euclid Hall. I bellied up to the bar and at the suggestion of the incredibly nice bartender, I ordered the Brassica Salad and had some... More

Another of the many fine restaurants on Larimer. The food is always high quality each time we go. The atmosphere is comfortable, the food very good, and the prices fair.

Suburb meal held back by an overtaxed wait staff. Our table was ready on time on a busy night. We will be back for sure!

Great service, great drinks and lovely dinner!! Love the ambiance and food selection was top notch. Great service and music was just right....not too loud, so we could actually have a conversation.

this place brings back childhood memories of crunching into a crustacean's flesh. it feels wrong, but it tastes so good! i wasn't quite sure what i got, but it was well over easy. i also tried losing the bum-it didn't work but it was past my money and very enjoyable. i suggest the funtime munchies or the hot potato- either... Totally delicious meal at brunch. The grapefruit granita cocktail was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Enjoyed everything about this restaurant.

Rioja is on Larimer Square, the hippest block in town. It's a busy place. Exquisite dishes. Wonderful wine list. Handmade pasta daily, but don't go there expecting typical American/Italian cuisine. It's much more imaginative than that.

Rioja is always good and creative food. Medium sized portions, so hard to overeat. Very fresh and unique Mediterranean style food you won't get anywhere else.
