Like most restaurants in Colorado during the covid pandemic, they are short staffed. The sign on the door states it could take 45-60 minutes to be served. After waiting 15 minutes sitting on the patio, I went inside to place my order. The 3 visible staff kept saying that 4 tables came in before us and they were behind. The restaurant was not packed. I am guessing that the kitchen staff is very short-handed. That said, the food was excellent. Wynette was our waitress and she really tried to be accommodating however a lot was out of her control with the kitchen being backed up.

We go to Divide once a year. When we are there, we go to this great Pub. Every meal is always as good as we remember. We just had two of the best sandwiches we have ever had. Shaved hame and melted swiss cheese on toasted Brochie bus with green chili aolie and a perfectly constructed Rueben Sandwich. Both chocked full of meat and had quality ingredients. Paired with a side salad, it was a heavenly meal. Akthough we did not try any of their pizza, they looked fantastic.

The wings were very delicious, but like another reviewer said they were really expensive for a pound. I’m from Pennsylvania so usually it’s a dollar per wing usually. So to order a pound and think it’s a lot, it’s really not. The waitress said it’s 3-7 wings, and it cost $13 for one pound. The math doesn’t really make sense to me quite honestly. Besides that minor issue, the food was absolutely wonderful!! Also, the mild sauce the wings were tossed in was AMAZING! The pizza was thin crust and was very satisfactory as well. I would recommend anyone to this place!

Called in at 6:15 for a large meat pizza to go. I get there at 6:30 still not ready. As I sit there waiting a waitress brings out this huge pizza out to some people and I'm thinking WoW is that their large I'll be getting? Nope the gal tells me that's a large for done in my large was the size of a medium and for $26 it wasn't worth it. It took 30 minutes before I got it.

Service, food, and portions rule at this off the road pub in Divide CO. Our waitress was the nicest woman who handled our large party of 7 with ease. The fish in the Fish & Chips was an entire half of a fish - amazing! The wings were perfectly crisped and the pizza was tasty as well. If you’re ever passing through Divide, make a point of visiting Mcgintys - you will NOT be disappointed.

RIP OFF!!! We ordered the Wisconsin Mac and cheese plain with the choice of side salad and a plate of fries to go, we paid $26. 00. The mac and cheese did not even fill a pint 'to go' container, the dressing was so small it did not even minimally dress the salad. The fries were written up as "sub rosemary" plate of fries and were the size of a small fry at a fast-food restaurant, no joke not even a full layer in the to go box! If the owner reads this, please contact us we are completely dissatisfied and wondering what we paid $26 dollars for!

Guinness Gouda soup, which I got TOGO tasted like it had a salt shaker dropped in it. Not edible - threw it out. Irish soda bread was stale and smelled bad too! What a disappointment. Save yourself the money & time - go to Paradox for food and drink in Divide. This place sucks. Not sure how they’re still in business.

I very rarely post reviews, but must tell all burger searchers/lovers that this place’s bacon cheese burger is FANTASTIC!!! 1/2 lb of locally raised & processed beef patty. Great taste, tenderness and texture. Flame or charbroil cooked (I think) gives it a nice crispy exterior while the inside of the thick patty doesn’t seem fatty or greasy. House fries (they call them chips) are good too. Wife really liked the meat lovers pizza — same comments on meats used. Whenever our travels take us remotely close to Divide, we’ll definitely detour to enjoy it all again!

What a fun place! We had their Reuben and beer cheese soup. Both were made from scratch and delicious. Although we didn’t get a chance to try one of their wood fired pizzas, the restaurant smelled heavenly. Everything coming out of the kitchen was good quality and served with care. We will visit again next time we’re in Divide!

While staying in a local cabin we decided to order some carry out pizzas after reading good reviews. We ordered the fighting 69th and a custom make your own pizza with gf crust. It was all delicious even after driving it back to our cabin. Next time we will eat inside to experience the atmosphere.

I called to place an order right after my neighbor placed his. Someone picked up the phone and laid it down and never said anything or came back. I hung up after waiting and it was busy for the next five minutes.
I understand if they are busy, but how hard is it to say we are not taking to go orders right now. The service has always been bad, even before Covid, but this is the last straw. Glad they have enough business that they do not need mine. My daughter in Divide refuses to go there anymore so I guess I am adding my name to that list. No matter how good the food is and it is good, bad customer service can run you off faster than a bad meal.

Infection control risk and poor communication. We've been here twice. One time was during the height of COVID. We had to talk to our servers several time and had to get the manager involved to get soap restocked in the bathroom. It was negligent and discussing. The second time they charged us 16 dollars after per old fashioned after the server lead us to believe the bullet was the standard option. Then they put an 8 dollar upcharge on there. This coaches its employees to mislead. The manager came over (after we asked her not to) and refused to do anything and started yelling at us.

Most restaurants that do wings sell by 12 or 24. We got a pound and 6 wings was all we got for 2 people? Are you kidding me. No way would I pay $25 for 12 wings. Last time we will have wings there. Our waitress didn't even bother to stop and ask how was everything to busy gabbing with a couple she knew. I can go to Hooters order 12 wings and fries for the same price of your 6 wings and fries. Sad had to fill up on fries. 1 pound of wings 2 pounds of fries

Great little place in Divide for a beer or two and some pretty good food. There were 6 in our party, including 2 vegetarians, and no one had any trouble finding something good to eat. Burgers were quite tasty. Decent assortment of beers, including several local taps. Service struggled a little bit, but got the job done. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely go back.

We had a McGinty's gift card we were given just before Covid arrived, so wasn't able to redeem the card immediately due to restaurants being closed/limited hours etc. When we did come in for lunch, we were told we couldn't use it to pay our bill~the "new system" wouldn't take it because it was 2 yrs old (no expiration listed on the card though). I had the receipt for the card....nope, they didn't care....can't use the gift card to pay your bill. ????? Obviously, they don't want our business so we won't be returning.
