Stopped by while staying in the area and very happy we did. We were promptly greeted by a friendly individual and received our drinks within a few minutes. The menu is noticeably slimmed down from the one posted in May 2022, in particular with man6 of the starters no longer on the menu. Between four of us we tried the chicken fingers, a bacon cheeseburger and the Cowboy D burger as well as the onion rings, fries and waffle fries. Everything was made exactly as we ordered and the burgers were excellent. The onion rings were great, but the fries didn’t seem fresh and were just ok. Glad we stopped by.

My wife and I were staying in a rental cabin/holiday home 6 miles down the road towards Cripple Creek and stopped in here for a cocktail late one afternoon. Enjoyed the place and the people so much that we came back for dinner two nights later. This seems to be a locals hangout and they all were very friendly. This was our second week on the road and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to have another hamburger after having two blazing average ones earlier in the trip. BUT this place has some very unique combinations. I had one with grilled pineapple, teriyaki sauce, bacon and swiss. It was very good. My wife had one with peanut butter on it and she enjoyed it and I have to say it was quite good. Locally sourced beef I believe too. They also had a reuben sandwich on the menu which every restaurant likes this in Co seems to have. I didn't have it but it looked good. Good fries and slaw also. Very friendly wait staff and as I said the locals were very friendly also. We were beered out at this point so we drank wine - they do have good cocktails too. It was Bota Box which isn't bad and the price was certainly cheap enough. I would go here again.

Best burger I have ever had! Great service and cool environment! My husband and stopped in on our way through town and so glad we did. One of the owners was our server and also said he makes the buns daily. Fries and burgers where excellent!

went with my family while on vacation and we were served burnt onion rings, burnt to the point the onion had dissolved, and told sorry nothing we are going to do about it. additionally when we ordered our orders weren't completely taken before the waiter ran off, and the food was wrong when it came out, instead of remaking a burger that had been made wrong the meat was just washed off and reheated. fries were stale and overcooked and the service was mediocre at best. if you're in the area avoid this restaurant!

Our lunch was disappointing because we sat outside for the mountain ambience and were pummeled by some kind of loud and very obnoxious music. A cross of rap and heavy metal. I truly can’t describe the irritation. The table next to us asked them to turn it down to no avail. So they left. The burgers were fine with no complaints. It’s disappointing so I’m not sure that we’ll return.

My wife and I tried out Russ' Place today for lunch. We had a cheeseburger and a mushroom swiss burger. We also ordered the fried Mac and cheese balls. They were all fantastic. Jules was our server. Despite being very crowded and her being the only server, she still had a great attitude and greeted everyone with a smile. I decided it would be a good idea to accidentally leave my debit card behind upon leaving. I called several hours later and she had kept it in a safe location and even has it on it's way back to me via Express Mail. We will most definitely be back.

Went to this place for lunch. Plan for a wait to get your food. The one girl working was busting her butt so we understood. Burgers are kind of pricey but isn’t everything right now. They were good. Onion rings are good and so is the chicken sandwich. It’s a bar and restaurant. Would try again if we had more time.

We stop by yesterday after a friend recommended Russ Place on our way to Cripple Creek. We came down from our stay on Cripple Creek for some more of their fried mushrooms. Yesterday we had a chicken sandwich and a mushroom swiss burger, both were great. The bar tender Kristen is great and very friendly. We have already recommended Russ Place to several other friends that drive thru Divide.

I've stopped at Russ' a couple times now for burgers and even a Reuben once. Service is great, all food cooked perfectly. The fries are outstanding. Prices are reasonable. Local owned and operated. I recommend making it a destination.

Absolutely delicious! Fun vibe! Was nervous to order burger as it states “all done med well”. I’m so glad I ordered the burger! Was perfectly done not well! Loved d the different burger selections! Shared with my son who wanted to try the one with onion ring and bbq sauce and I got the one with avocado. Didn’t think I would like the bbq one but it was my favorite!!!!!!

Onion rings brought to the table burnt and looking like nuclear waste. Flavor of burgers was decent, can't ask for any deviation from the menu or things are incorrect (ie sauce on the side) nothing to write home about fries over salted and cooked a tad too long

This place is honestly the best with burgers....got the bacon avocado with added mushrooms, and it absolutely did not disappoint! The prices have gone up a bit but completely understandable with inflation and supply chain issues- so no complaints! The service is wonderful, and love being a local where I can come here anytime I want!

These burgers are always always top notch! You just can't find a duplicate! The mac-n-cheese burger is full of calories but who cares.....it is sooooo good! Their cole slaw is super yummy, and I love their sweet potatoe fries! Their ranch dressing is homemade and has an extra bit of seasoning in it that is so good! Everything is fresh and made to order! Can't beat this place!

We cannot say enough good things about their burgers! They have a variety of toppings and cooked fresh for each order, their fries are fantastic, and they even have cheesecake! The prices are amazing because you get more than enough food, and the fried pickles are pretty good too!
