The fish and chips were recommended, but we did not think they were that good. The beer batter was dull. Fun atmosphere in a central area of town.

Pleasant Irish pub, nice atmosphere. Good staff. This review clouded by the fact that they serve Shepherd’s Pie. Suffice to say no Irish shepherd would recognize this. It is made with minced beef, and too sweet. An expensive waste of money. Shame.

Enjoyed my first visit to the Irish Embassy Pub. Ordered their fish tacos. They were good, especially the fresh cabbage salsa. The fish was lightly breaded and tasty. I sat at the bar and my bartender (Carmen)was awesome. My experience overall was perfect. An added...More

We went here for dinner on a Monday night. The place is very attractive, and had about six or seven tables occupied. There were only two people working the bar and dining room. The waiter who helped us was very nice, but with the place...More

We were looking for a relaxed place to eat in Durango and we came upon the Irish Embassy, it appeared to be popular so we thought we would try it. We had a really good meal of corned beef and cabbage. Our server was friendly.

Great choice of micro brews. I had the local Irish Stout that was dark and rich and paired it with Fish and Chips that was excellent. Great atmosphere and the service was very good. Great place to enjoy a brew or eat.

This pub is in a historic building on Main Street. It has a great atmosphere inside, with the look and feel of an old Irish pub. The food was very good, and there are lots of authentic Irish dishes available. I sat at the bar...More

We requested replacement chips because the ones served to us were soggy. The kitchen server was bringing the chips to the table and decided to pretend PUKE on them. Obviously, the waitress told the kitchen server we were asking for the replacement. Terrible!! And, disgusting....More

Conveniently located in historic downtown Durango, the Embassy is a local favorite. The pub is authentic Irish - every piece of furniture, every picture, every glass was shipped directly from Ireland. So if you’re wanting to take a trip to the Emerald Isle without leaving town, stop on by. Enjoy a 20-ounce Imperial Pint of Guinness, a tasty serving of our famous fish and chips, or listen to a traditional Irish jam.
