My wife and I love wood fired pizza and chose Fired Up for dinner last night. It's located right on Main Ave. in downtown Durango and you can choose to sit outside in front, inside or on the rooftop. We sat inside bc it was breezy out. Very comfortable with fast and attentive service. Our beers came quick and cold and our appetizer house salad arrived soon after. I would recommend the house balsamic dressing. Our pizza with fennel sausage, mushrooms and roasted red peppers was excellent--three pieces each. Thin crust per usual with wood fired pizzas and therefore no dough gut afterwards. Our tab came to $42+tip including the two beers so not bad at all for a popular and busy tourist town. I would recommend Fired Up and we would happily return next time we're in Durango!

Fired Up checked all the boxes. We sat outside on the street in the cool of the evening and it was one of those magical dining experiences that come along occasionally. Pros: Wifey pizza and Caprese appetizer were very tasty and we both loved them; our waitress was perfect - nice, attentive and new to leave us alone just enough. Interesting cocktail drink choices were good as well. Cons: None Without reservation I recommend this restaurant for a pleasent dining experience.

This place was down the street from our hotel and we secured an outdoor table. I had the 8" pepperoni pizza that came with a thin crust and gigantic pepperoni slices. It was very tasty. My wife got the spinach/artichoke dip with crusty bread for dipping and she liked it very much. Service was prompt and our waitress was friendly. Plus we had a front seat as all the bikers arrived for the Labor Day weekend rally.

We had a horrible experience. The waitress and presumably (self proclaimed manager) was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We were a large group, practically the only patrons for a late lunch, and were treated with total disdain. We had a small child that stayed from our table and the waitress completely lost her composure. This is certainly not a family friendly or even a people friendly establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Steer clear!

Had a great first experience at Fired Up Pizzeria in Durango. The interior atmosphere is lively yet cozy. (It's small so be advised that seating is limited.) We sat at a hightop and were served by the bartender. Despite having bar seats full as well as other tables full, the bartender provider us good service. We each ordered a local craft beer and small salad which were quite good. We also ordered the Vesuvius pizza which was outstanding...light crust, generous toppings, and zesty sauce. Didn't expect a pizza dinner to be our best in Durango, but on this trip it was (disappointing experiences at several others). We'll definitely pay another visit to Fired Up Pizzeria when we trek to Durango again in the summer.

We really enjoyed this place! It was popular for a good reason! We ordered pizza and it was delicious! The beer was very tasty, too! Our server, Jules, was so friendly and very helpful as we were figuring out what we wanted to order. The atmosphere was comfy and had a great vibe!

Very friendly staff, clean restaurant and pretty good pizza but feel like it was overpriced. Pizzas are simple and small. Cheapest pizza is $18 but everything else is over $20 for a 12” pizza. Edges of pizzas are also slightly blackened, which means your last bite is charcoal flavored.

After a long day on the Durango to Silverton railroad, we two couples headed to Fired Up pizza. They did not take reservations, and it was a very busy time of day, as many other train riders headed for Fired Up. We knew it would be hard to get in, so we went directly there and were seated promptly. We shared several pizzas and a bottle of wine. The pizza selection was eclectic with options to include greens as a topping and the pizza itself was very tasty. The crusts were a bit charred, just as we like it. Our server was very accommodating as we kept adding pizzas to our order!

Nice little restaurant in downtown Durango. Definitely not your average pizza place. Our pizza had fennel sausage, smoked garlic cloves and mushrooms on a thiner crust. Pizza was $26 and fed 2 adults and a toddler. Definitely worth trying at least once.

Great Caesar salad, which was big enough to share. Excellent freshness, crisp and flavorful. Then ordered the Chicken Pesto pizza. WOW!! Excellent choice and cooked in the brick oven gave the crust the perfect crispness. Wait staff were timely and very friendly. We had at least 3 different assist us during our stay…refills, salad delivery and pizza delivery. They also did a very large takeout but it never hindered the customers in the restaurant.

Best meal in Durango. The Caprese salad was excellent with a large portion of smoked crostini. The Meat Works pizza was great with a nice thin wood smoked crust. Plan to eat there again before we leave town.

I see why this is top pizza place in Durango. Their crust is thin and wood-fired so if you like pan pizzas don’t come here. 😊 We enjoyed the Sweet & Salty which is figs and prosciutto on red sauce. Also started with Grande and Caesar salads. Almost returned for dinner later in the day.

We were exploring main Ave when all three kids declared their hunger at the same time. A vote was taken and pizza won. We sat for a while before someone showed up to take our order. However, once we were finally waited on, everything flowed smoothly for the rest of our meal. We enjoyed the meat, sweet and salty and the pesto sausage pizzas. Everyone gave the food a thumbs up. The dining room is a very pretty, historic brick building which makes adds to the enjoyment.

An amazing surprise in downtown Durango! We shared a peperoni pizza and an arugula salad. It sounds simple, but it was THE best pizza I've had in a long time. The arugula salad with figs, parmesan and walnuts was just as amazing as the pizza. It's a cozy place and the service was outstanding.

We found a pizza we wanted on the menu posted on trip advisor and called to place a pizza order for takeout. Turned out, the menu was outdated and they didn't offer that one anymore, but instead of having us pick something else, they said they'd make it for us if we told them what the ingredients were. We were so pleasantly surprised! The pizza was thin crust, fire roasted, and quite yummy. We certainly recommend checking them out.
