Food was great. There are different options for everyone. And, of course, they have local beers which we sampled and really liked. This is a popular place to go in Durango. I will go back next time we are in Durango.

2nd time here on vacation. Food was good. Service not so. When we we're done, it took 15 minutes to get our check paid for, we just sat there sipping water.

This is one place where the wait was worth it. The food was excellent, the beer good, and the service outstanding.

The wait was a little long, especially since the hostess was texting the wrong number that our table was ready (make sure the number the host takes down is correct). Once we got a table the service was fast, we had the cheese curds which...More

Nice bar. Good selection of drinks and food. There was a one hour wait to get in so we walked downtown.

The trout and burgers were quite good. It’s a large place and a bit loud in the evening. The bar scene is part of the vibe here. The service is good. No reservations, so plan on a wait.

Description
Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
