We were staying next door at the Kiva Inn, and a May snow storm was going strong. So, we walked next door. Good food, excellent service, and a great green chile stew, which really hit the spot after a horrendous drive through the storm from Denver International Airport.

If you're interested in a trip back through a few decades, have dinner here! This is a sprawling one level restaurant with rough hewn wooden features, a western theme, a 70's Naugahyde theme, and totally family friendly. It also has a full bar in the center. We were seated in the "North 40" - that's what they call the rear... More

Was recommended by the desk clerk at Comfort Inn. We got there about 3pm and a gentleman walking out said he never had a bad meal there. The steak sandwich was actually a 8 ounce very thick sirloin with bread and choice of potato and salad. Was very good and price won't break your wallet.

I love this place. It's dark with low ceilings and lots of cowboys. The pork chops are delicious. So are the mashed potatoes. The peanut butter pie is out of this world. I love the Chex in the salad too. I want to go there right now!

Family owned and run for many years! This little gem is a MUST DO for steak dinner while you're in town. Don't miss it! We had a fabulous meal. LOVED our steak dinners!! The atmosphere was so calm! No music playing to annoy you. The surroundings are set up so that you're cozy, but not in each other's space. We... More

I would've probably never tried Charco Broiler if it hadn't been for a friend's suggestion. My wife and I usually stay near College when we visit the area. Our steaks were cooked as ordered, nice waitress and decent wine choice. Gluten free choices also. This restaurant should be rated hire and is worth the drive of a few minutes off... More

We ate here for dinner and again for breakfast the following day. The service was great, we were greeted & seated immediately. The server was very friendly and and attentive to our needs. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The place has some very interesting decor and is a "blast from the past" so to speak.

We visited on a Wednesday for lunch. It always looks busy from the outside. Lots of parking. Portions are generous and pricing is moderate. Steak and french onion soup was great, salmon salad was ok, but this is a steak place. Food from kitchen was slow but waitress was attentive.
