It is always best to eat cajun food in New Orleans. As a very close second, go to The Lost Cajun in Frisco, Colorado. The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo is very good. The fried catfish is crisp and light; the shrimp tasty. And to the finish the meal you have to try the beignets.

You start with a cutting block with 3 oz. portions of 5-6 soups they offer. Seafood Gumbo to Lobster Bisqu. I had a hard time deciding since all were delicious. We are going back Sunday for beigets and Cafe Au Lait, yum!

My wife and I (both natives of S. Louisiana) were in Frisco at the end of a 9 day trip before heading home and lo and behold if we didn't find a fabulous Cajun eatery, The Lost Cajun, here in Colorado. After a week of good Colo food, we were ready for a change and wow! From the moment we... More

Heard about this place through Trip Advisor. Had we closed our eyes we'd have thought we were eating in a restaurant in New Orleans or Metairie or Mandeville or most anywhere in Louisiana. The Lost Cajun isn't fancy. Seats about 30 inside and about 40 outside. Given the great Colorado weather, lots of folks were eating outside today. His staffing... More

We stopped in just because we were walking by. Almost as soon as we sat down they had a small sampler on the table of their various gumbo's and red beans. Overall the food was very good and the service was quick. Prices were very reasonable for the area. The restaurant has a few tables inside but has several tables... More

My family is from Louisiana and I've grown up with New Orleans and Cajun cuisine. I've had " Cajun" out of the Delta and have never been happy until the Lost Cajun. It is authentic Cajun cuisine even down to the Community Coffee with hickory. Go there!

We love authentic south Louisiana dishes as a result of our 14 years living the. Lost Cajun did not disappoint! It's not often we find a restaurant outside of Louisiana that meets our expectation for Cajun seafood but Lost Cajun exceeded what we expected to find in Colorado. We would welcome an opportunity to eat at any of there locations.

A friend of mine and I walked in on Sept. 3rd after a long bike ride and we were hungry. We were greeted from the door and felt welcome from the start. We were given our choice of seats and because of the construction noise outside, chose to stay in the restaurant. We were brought a sampling of jambalaya to... More

Finally! A place with sweet tea....the oysters were good...not fishy....they let you sample all 6 soups/gumbo... the chicken gumbo is to die for. I wish the prices weren't so high. I suppose that is a colorado thing. The 2 young ladies were kind not to mention easy to look at, but not in a sleezy way.
