Get there early, the line will be out the door, but if it is don't get discouraged, they turn tables quickly. Good coffee, bakery items are excellent, soups were tasty. Can't think of anything to find fault with.

The Butterhorn has the best sandwiches and soups in the entire area. You will not be disappointed but get there before 2:30 pm because that is when they close for the day. I love the turkey & cranberry sandwich, my wife loves the BLT and...More

Chose the Butterhorn for breakfast for 4 adults because of TripAdvisor ratings. Expected it to be busy and it was, but we were seated within the 15-20 minute wait time given by the host. We were given a paging device so we could walk around...More

Sandwiches and soups were excellent. The waitress was very friendly and helpful in getting advice on restaurants for dinner. The baked goods were very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We've had both lunch and breakfast here. The long lines attest to how good this place is. Very friendly service, very delicious French toast with fruit and nuts.

We stopped here on our bike ride from Vail Pass. We had worked up an appetite and were not disappointed. Even though the place was packed, the service was excellent and the food was even better. My husband had the French toast with the piles...More

This place is super popular so be prepared to wait a few minutes or 10... Worth the extra few minutes it takes to get seated. Great food, bakery, and accommodating to special dietary needs. Fun, local mountain decor. Kids loved it! Start your day here!

Hi Dan, March 27 is still on spring break, I believe the restaurant will be really busy and loud. FYI, due to our friendly and efficient service, management may limit table time to 45 minutes to accommodate our waiting... More
