What a wonderful little cafe. We had breakfast for lunch. Fluffy vegetable omelette, cornbeef hash & eggs and pancakes. Plus great service, friendly place.

The Java Lava is a friendly little cafe tucked away in a strip center right on Hwy. 40 toward the the west end of Granby. If you are on your way to Steamboat, Estes Park, or anywhere else that takes you through Granby, this is a good breakfast choice. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. You order at the... More

If you need a coffee that's more than just plain black and you want a pretty fast home cooked meal, this is your spot in this neck of the woods. I has a mocha, it was pretty good, reasonably priced and very hot. I've has better and worse, but it's better than gas station coffee. I also had a breakfast... More

I really enjoyed my experience at Java Lava this morning & early afternoon. This is a unique and enjoyable place for coffee, tea and baked goods. The owners and staff are down home friendly, and love to laugh. The coffee and tea are excellent. My caramel latte was perfect. We didn't get a chance to try the baked goods or food, but it all looked good. It is just an uplifting place to... More

My family loves this breakfast spot. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everything from the burritos to the classic bacon and eggs are made fresh and are very tasty. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich in the soft croissant.
