Visiting from NYC - didn't know what to expect - but very pleased with the setting, the food and the service. There were 6 of us - all over 70 - we were able to enjoy table-wide conversations without having to raise our voices.

First time at the Chinook based on recommendations from friends, and it did not disappoint. The Wiener schnitzel was excellent, and you need to pay attention to the customizations of the burgers. Hefeweizen was very good. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Worth the trip.
We visited the Chinook Tavern for lunch the other day and had the Southwestern steak salads - they were very good. The restaurant has a somewhat funky vibe, very good food and good service. Recommend!
