Stopped by for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Decided to bring the whole family back for breakfast and was not disappointed. Had the chance to stop by for lunch later in the trip and had a buffalo burger that was excellent.

We stopped by here on a day of just driving for fun. It's abit dated inside with a carpet that probably should have been replaced years ago. On the other hand the folks were very friendly, with alot of sun brewed iced tea in the window. We ordered both american and mexican. They have crispy chili relleno's and they were... More

Outa Rocky Mountain Oysters. French fries were 4.5 star highlight. Green chili was good. Both Buffalo and Beef burgers cooked to a dryness like the desert. It was called High Line when we were there. We spied no other restaurant though the reviews we saw put it at #1 or #2 ..... of 2.

Ok, I mean Dive in a good way. RUSTIC Colorado Mountain Cafe to say the least. You can tell instantly, this place has been here a LONG time. We had to squeeze past 6 cowboys to get to our table. One packing his "real" sixshooter (legal in Colorado). It was flat awesome really, they were real working cowboys in the... More

Not a lot in these back roads. We found this place about a year ago and now make every effort to eat there when passing thru! Best burgers, small town hole in the wall atmosphere and great folks.

Quaint and small, but excellent food and service. The selection of burgers is why people stop here. Sometimes busy with skiers returning from the mountains. Easy access from US 24 from Buena Vista and Colorado 9 from Fairplay.

This restaurant is a unique dining experience! We stopped at the Highline Cafe (renamed) recently when returning from a ski trip. It was a quiet Monday night and the main dining area was closed but the bar was open with about 8-10 locals. We were immediately welcomed and made to feel at home. Employees went out of the way to... Staying with friends in Hartsell, decided to take the ATV into town and have lunch. We have eaten here twice so far. Both times wonderful food. Home cooking great portions, you can't ask for more. Everybody we have talked to has been very friendly and accommodating. Beer is cold and the cost is nominal

If you are hungry in Hartsel then it doesn't much matter what I say because this is really your only option. We went in at 11:00ish on a Sunday morning hoping for breakfast but sadly could only order from the lunch menu. Each had a sandwich and it was fine; nothing special but no complaints. Service was friendly and prompt.... More
