I have seen this place grow from a tiny cart in the liquor store parking lot to a tiny building in the same lot - I finally let my curiosity lead me there, and ordered a 2-pupusa order. BTW, this was a lot of food for me, and at $6, amazingly inexpensive. It's delicious. The pork and chicken were each... More

The first time I ate here I was a bit skeptical pulling up to an old trailer behind a liquor store, but in hindsight that was probably a sign of the awesomeness that was about to occur. The pupusas are made fresh so it's not "super fast food" like the burger king across the street, but wow they're delicious. I... More

I had always wondered about the little food cart behind Union Jack liquor store in Louisville. On Monday night I stopped there but had no idea what to order so I went with chicken and pork+bean pupusas. It took the lady 10 minutes to prepare my food. Each order comes with 2 pupusas plus salsa and slaw that you use... More

The Pupusas cart sells essentially only one thing: you guessed it, Salvadorean Pupusas, Five dollars buys you two corn masa disks filled with a variety of fillings from bean and cheese, to pork to Loroco, a flowering vine. Don't ignore the salsa and curtido, a vinegary cabbage, carrot and jalapeño slaw, -- they make the dish. There are a few... More
