After spending the morning conquering Pikes Peak, my wife, daughter and I spent a couple of hours strolling through downtown Manitou Springs. We were hungry and spotted the Jerusalem Cafe at the end of the block. The place is definitely casual, but the food is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, the presentation, and the flavors! I had... More

Stopped here during late afternoon and had a nice meal. The place was not full, but very busy. We both ordered the kabob sampler and substituted tabouli salad for the Greek. We both loved our meals. Finished it off with their mouth watering baklava. Excellent and homemade in store. Only criticism was that kabob meat was slightly overlooked. Still tasty... More

Had a parsley salad and sage tea- both were quite good. Very poor ambience and the bathroom was dirty. Service was fast and friendly.

This is a small restaurant with no frills, but I didn't care one bit since we loved the food. I had the Beefofel = beef and lamb Shawermah and my husband had the Ultimate. Mine was sooo good I wanted another, except for the fact that I was very full from just one. My husband is a big eater and... More

After reading good reviews about this place, my wife & I decided to try it out yesterday. Well, let me just say we have eaten Middle Eastern Cuisine all over the US and this by far was the worst. The servise was NON existant, the entire restaurant was UNKEPT. We will NEVER go back again

So I've been to all the Heart of Jerusalem locations multiple times. They aren't much to look at, but I am so in love with their food. Seriously, if I could hop into their tiny tea cups and swim around in them, I would. The food and the sage tea is that good. You really can't go wrong. I'm vegetarian... More

The hummus and pita was great. The chicken was ok. The wait staff was very friendly. My daughters liked the chai latte.

I wish that I could say I am a connoisseur when it comes to Middle Eastern food, but I am not. Prior to visiting the Heart of Jerusalem, my experience with Middle Eastern food was limited to my frequent visits to Döner Kebab stands while stationed in Germany in the 1990’s. I had the beef, chicken, and lamb shawarma sandwich... More

We visited this eatery for lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming with ethnic folk music setting the mood. Our waitress was helpful answering all our questions while making helpful suggestions. The food was delicious and plentiful. The lamb was extremely tasty as were the grape leaves, babaganush and hummus. The falafel was a pleasant surprise and should be tasted. Excellent food... More

The atmosphere here is very relaxed and family-like. The food is the star. It is simply the best Middle Eastern food in the area. SO tasty, fresh, and well made.
