We had 4 in our party but the custard was great....no complaints. It was a little pricey but to be expected in this kind of town.

The owner is a very unique guy in himself. The custard is great; it's mixed with a topping and then served. I loved it.

Found this amazing place while walking thru Manitou Springs. We had the apple pie avalanche, whole piece of fresh pie mixed with creamy custard. My previous favorite was from Ted Drewes in St. Louis, but this tiny place blew them out of the water.

Custard was good, but not as creamy as what you get in the north east. It is also scooped and not soft serve.

Couldn't find an ice cream place after being disappointed in not summiting pikes peak due to the winds. Had a good banana split and super orange Avalanche. Yes, this was creamy, rich custard, in vanilla and chocolate flavors!

Small walk-up ice cream store that is big on flavor and variety. The owner is a world-class, high attitude marathon runner. An interesting guy to talk with. A few years ago he won long distance races up Pike's Peak two days in a row and has traveled the world as a runner. Oh, and the custard was excellent also. I... More

It was a cool and wet evening we had in town, but after a walk and a heart meal I needed ice cream. Tiny little booth style shop front where he makes his frozen custard daily. It was delicious and creamy. I love a good vanilla ice cream and this was up there with the best I have ever had.

I don't believe this was really custard. It was more like ice cream. Every custard I've ever had has been creamy and rich. This was soooo not. Plus my chocolate lacked tasting like chocolate. Very faint chocolate flavor. Even Culver's has better custard. The worker was friendly but for $6 I'd expect real custard. I threw most of mine away.... More

We visited here last summer and stopped by and had a very nice chat with the owner, who is there most-days. The custard was fabulous and the array of ways you could get it was amazing. Stop by, you won't be sorry!

The frozen custard was rich and tasty. The walk-up window gave it a quaint feel. The owner has an impressive Pike's Peak Marathon history.
