Now called Prospector Grill but still the same outstanding food! Eamonn O'Hara never disappoints. Potato Leek soup was delicious. The organic salmon with soy ginger glaze is out of this world. Finish with pecan pie and you will be in gastronomical heaven. In the past we have tried all the entrees... you can't go wrong. If you are anywhere near... More

The Argentine Grill is no more. This is now the Prospector. It continues the tradition of excellence with Chef Eamonn O'Hara. We are having the Colorado chicken and organic Salmon this evening. What a great find on a cold snowy winter evening.

I've tried really hard to find a better fillet somewhere in the world, but there's none other than the petit fillet at the Argentina grill!

This is a real surprise of a restaurant in a tiny town between Dolores and Telluride. My wife searched restaurants in Telluride the other day and came up with this one just 15 miles north of a favorite campground where we were staying. It was hard to believe the reviews but we decided to give it a try. We were... More

AbFab. I have eaten steaks all over the world. This, best to date. Superb service and friendliness. Very welcoming staff. We travelled 100 miles round trip out of our way to get to Rico and would double that easily again.

Five minutes in, we knew we were in a special place. Cozy atmosphere, warm hospitality, and an enticing menu, with a wide range of appetizers and salads to get us started. We had trouble choosing between the chicken (one of their specialties), the salmon or the vegetarian lasagna with the wild chanterelles (our table-neighbors couldn’t stop talking about it), so... When you drive through Rico, CO, you would never expect to find a treasure of a restaurant like the Argentine Grill.. The small menu has something that you will love, and it will be fantastic! The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and gave excellent service.. a quote from my mother: "The best service I have ever had in a restaurant."... More

My friends and I decided to try it out since we lived next door at the Rico Hotel but apparently getting there 10minutes before 5pm is a sin, because we got run off even though the only thing we asked for was a glass of wine. The cook/owner is very rude.

Stopped in for "Happy Hour" there were 2 tables sat inside & 1 outside. We were turned away stating they couldn't serve us bc they were too busy. After reiterating a second time we were just stopping for a glass of wine she said "uh sorry I'm just too busy" Walked down the street to Enterprise for great food, wine... More
