Amazing hidden treasure. Highly recommend. The burger was organic, local beef. So very delicious. The chips and salsa were homemade and so flavorful. The homemade bread for the BLT was amazing. And the pie was so delicious we forgot to take pictures before they were all gone. Also took cinnamon roll and cookies to go. Great price, great value, amazing... More

I have lived in the San Luis Valley most of my life. I have to admit that I never dreamed I would find one of my favorite restaurants nestled in the quaint little town of Saguache. As of yesterday, that has changed! This hidden gem has gained a spot on my top 10 list of places here in the valley.... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Durango. This town is practically in the middle of nowhere but this diner was a great find. We had burgers and they tasted so fresh, they used grass fed beef. The taste was so refreshing for a burger. If you're ever in this town, do stop by. We didn't have anything... More

On our way home from Durango and after being spoiled with great breakfasts at the Country Sunshine B&B, we were famished and in search of good food. We stopped in Saguache and found this jewel of a diner. Great old photos on the walls, friendly staff. BUT the food was amazing! FRESH, DELICIOUS, GREAT PRESENTATION! Don't bypass this stop on... Stopped in to Saguache to get coffee ☕️. Found this place and ended up getting raspberry and almond scones. Stop in, very friendly. Down the street is the newspaper office. The last newspaper in America using old style Linotype. A step back in time.

1st time customer & 1st day for a new chef..., everything was wonderful, and I do mean everything, even down to food presentation! Also enjoyed looking at history in pictures and local artist flare hanging on the walls. We'll definitely make it a tradition to stop & enjoy on trips from Ft. Garland, CO to Gunnison, CO.

We decided to eat here on our way home from a short vacation trip. This is kind of hidden in town but well worth looking for. The device was good and the food even better. We wanted something light and decided on a simple BLT and grilled cheese sandwiches. Both were large and good. Their deep fryer was broken but... More

Get the jalapeño and cheddar toast. It's delicious. Wait staff are friendly and take good care of you. And the food was very good.

Sunday late lunch at about 2 pm; my wife and I. First the good: they have fresh, homemade bread and buns that were really good. And Pepsi products. Neat old building with a cast iron stove in the middle of one wall. Eclectic decorations and tables. Now the not-so-good: The place smelled like yesterday's grease. We had to air out... More
