Expensive. Service is horrible. Grille your own meat is fun idea -- but not executed well. Bad wine list and lousy salad bar. Tried a few times and it just doesn't get better.

We were sceptical of eating at a steak house since we don't eat meat of any kind. But, the place is historic and we like to support independant locals, so we gave it a try. The people were all very friendly and professional. We were...More
I've gone here for years, kind of fell off the radar for me (not The Mint's fault) but just came back last week. Check the backpage of the paper for the special. I had a $10.99 bacon-wrapped sirloin with full salad bar. Cooked it myself,...More
picked this restaurant at random using our phone. We were hungry as we were traveling back from Vail and thought the description of the food looked interesting. FAntastic. Select your own cut of steak or shrimp from the case, grill it yourself on their large...More

We drove to Silverthorne from Breckenridge specifically for this restaurant. In a snowstorm. We checked the internet AND the phone message before leaving, but got there and it was closed. Turns out they are closed every Monday in May, but no mention of that. Tried...More
What a nice, charming and relaxing place. Service was excellent, staff was very friendly and efficient. Food was so very good. Won't miss this place next time I find myself in that part of the state.
Its a pretty good place to eat. Not the best but a pretty good steak and fixings. If your hungry it will fill you up.
This restaurant allows you to pick out your steak and cook it yourself - a novelty of course. Quality of the food is excellent. All-you-can-eat salad bar has a good selection. Other side dishes cost extra. Broccoli was NOT overcooked (as it is in so...More
