We recently spent 6 nights here and enjoyed it very much. The owners were a delight! They were eager to help however they could. So beautiful, cool, fun and relaxing! A must see and stay place!

Be sure to call ahead because they're only open part of the year & it says nothing about it on the recording that you get when you call them. My family & I set out to go for dinner one night, never could find it w/ Google Maps ( totally inaccurate directions, as we saw later that another reviewer had... More

We ate at the Blue Creek restaurant twice this year. We enjoyed the food and the service was good. The coconut cream pie and cinnamon rolls are delicious!

We visited in September and many things in South Fork had closed for the season. Don't use your GPS because you won't find the restaurant. It is about half way to Creede. We called and got great directions. The restaurant was very friendly from the greeter to the server. Food was really good and even though they were really busy... More

The setting of this great little restaurant is just the beginning of a great visit. Went there for an early dinner with friends, a step above casual, I would feel out of place in work clothes, but OK in shorts and summer attire. Limited but adequate menu. Chicken fry and tatos is all I need. Came with salad. Make sure... More

We stayed at the Blue Creek Lodge Cabins for three nights and ate at their restaurant twice. The restaurant is rustic and in keeping with the feeling of the entire lodge and cabins. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We were seated immediately and Tom, our server, came quickly to take our drink orders. We lingered for a while... More

We were so disappointed. There are three (3!) restaurants inside South Fork. We discovered the Blue Creek Lodge as we were coming back from Creede. It is about 10 miles more or less from South Fork. So excited to find another place to eat. First of all, we were seated in the Tea Room. It was decorated cute but it... More

We had a group of 10 and stayed in the rooms above the restaurant. The rustic, old-timey atmosphere was great. It was so unique and memorable. We appreciated that it was a family-run business and the owners were very hospitable and courteous. We ate a delicious meal in the John Wayne Room. Call ahead to get reserved seating. The milkshakes... More

Watch out or you'll pass this place by. Good food, great staff, simple but adequate menu in beautiful setting. Homemade pies are their specialty.

Our group of 8 friends spent 2 nights in the Summit Cabin. The arrangement of 4 ensuite bedrooms with a large, separate kitchen/dining/living room worked well for us. The bedrooms are minimally furnished but very clean. There is no WiFi in the cabin. Although the cabin has a TV dish on its roof multiple channels only came in on the... More
