This place is not a place to go to for good food. Service was okay but the food really lets the show down. Chicken Ore House was a breast of chicken, with processed ham on top, covered in a sauce. Not worth the price at...More

We go to Steamboat once a year and Ore House is always a must on our family's dinner plans. Make a reservation. Great food, friendly service. We will continue going again and again.

We went for Easter Dinner after travelling all day. Didn't disappoint. Ore House has been there for many years ( I lived in Steamboat in the 80's and it was a great restaurant then!) and didn't disappoint I had the Prime Rib and it was...More

Try the special potato side, yummy! Great prime rib, trout and steaks also a good salad bar. Reservations during ski season are a good idea.

Much better options in town. Food was average at best. Salad bar was small with limited options. Service was below average. Overall, we will not be going back. Tip - If you do decide to eat here, but you should skip this place, do skip...More

Nothing ever changes at this restaurant. Same menu, same dated decor, new owners. Not a complaint. Good salad bar, good service. Just wish they would do some updating. The place needs some love. Ask for the front room otherwise you might get stuck in a...More

Steak and ribs were delicious - you MUST make a reservation- they were turning away disappointed diners. This restaurant has been around since the 1970s so has the vintage factor. Would I eat there again? Probably not, it’s a little pricey but that’s what you...More

Went for dinner with our kids and loved it!! Best prime rib we’ve had in years. The salad bar was great and the ambiance is old west which is always fun. We will definitely be back!

Nice, relaxing atmosphere-very friendly. Great menu with many choices, but steaks are the way to go. Very good salad bar-old fashioned feel. Would recommend!

Six of us had dinner at Ore House in March 2018 during a Steamboat ski trip. Food was remarkably average or below overall, though the seafood and steak entrees were better than chicken. However, since several of us had difficulty sleeping that night, we suspect...More

The Ore House does NOT use MSG or other additives in it's food. It's also interesting that the exact same review, word for word was posted on Open Table. All of our meats are seasoned with salt and pepper. You can "suspect" anything you want,...More
